Piscadera Bay Resort #16

The host was very accommodating and easy to contact. Very flexible with check out times. The location is perfect, 2 minutes drive or 10-15 minute walk from the closest beach and restaurants. Away from the mass tourism. Yet not too far from Willemstad, Westpunt or Oostpunt. Gated community, so we felt very safe. Nice and calm throughout the day. The size of the house was perfect for us. It's very nice that there are 2 big full bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. Good AC. The kitchen was decently equipped with all the basic amenities. A big fridge with a freezer was available. A washing machine is also available. The outside porch was nice, nice ocean breeze throughout the day. Lots of chairs (18!) around the whole house. A hammock has also been installed.

The house is slightly outdated and could use some maintenance. The shower in one of the bathrooms was taped to the wall, because it was broken. Needed some creative solutions to keep the showerhead in place. Also the AC units are placed right behind one of the bathrooms, so it can get quite noisy there when they are running. In the pictures there was a couch in the living room, but that has been replaced with chairs. Also no AC in the living room. Only a ceiling fan. We did have to buy things such as hand soap, toilet paper, trash bags as there was not enough provided for the duration of our stay. However we still enjoyed our stay very very much, these were all negligible issues.

De locatie centraal op het eiland en een rustig resort. Na een strand bezoek of excursie rustig thuis komen.

Eigenlijk niets.

La casa es muy comoda, ubicada dentro de un barrio cerrado, con seguridad. La cocina estaba muy equipada, incluso con licuadora y tostadora y todo lo necesario para cocinar si se desea. Baños amplios y agua caliente maravillosa. Habia lavarropas, parrilla portatil y tabla de planchar con plancha (todo esto, no lo usamos). Hay smart tv y wifi. Excelente anfitriona, Gracias Rochelle por tu amabilidad. Super recomendable por su cercania a la playa Piscadera y a tres minutos en auto de supermercado.

Es imprescindible alquilar un automovil, para poder desplazarse en forma segura y recorrer la ciudad y sus playas. La ubicacion de Piscadera Bay Resort es perfecta.
