Golden fox Villa

Amazing location and view!!! We absolutely loved it. We'll be back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay. The villa is beautiful and spacious, with an amazing view over Paleokastritsa. It was perfect for our group, with 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one bedroom on the lower floor (with its own entrance and kitchenette), and the kitchen and lounge with balcony on the upper floor. Worth noting that there is a fourth sleeping area in a loft on the upper floor, but it’s open on the sides so wouldn’t be quiet if anyone was in the lounge or kitchen. Alexandros is a great host - really welcoming, helpful, and easy to get in touch with. We were travelling with our 8 month old baby and they kindly left us a crib, toys, wipes, etc - very sweet! We made great use of the pool, which is about 700 meters away. It’s walkable on the main road, but we often drove in the heat and there is plenty of parking. The pool is gorgeous and has a great view, and we never struggled for chairs. The village is picturesque and quiet with a few great restaurants, a bakery/breakfast spot, convenience store, and a taverna for drinks, snacks and live music. Paleokastritsa is about 15-20 mins away. We had one designated parking spot near the villa, but I imagine additional cars could be parked at the main Golden Fox site. Overall, truly a gem!

A small thing, but we wished we could order food by the pool! There is a restaurant at the Golden Fox, but it closed around 3 until dinner, and in between you could only get pastries and ice cream.

Our 6-day stay at Golden Fox Villa in Lakones was truly unforgettable. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious, and full of charm. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The view over Paleokastritsa from the villas balcony was like something out of a dream, we spent so many peaceful evenings just soaking in the beauty and mornings enjoying our Greek coffee. The amenities like the 4 bathrooms and kitchens had everything we needed. We loved cooking dinner together as a family most nights, which made the whole experience feel extra special. We also got to enjoy the Golden Fox Hotels Swimming Pool, which is only a scenic 5-minute walk away from the property (pushchair friendly), there you can also enjoy the stunning viewpoint and have something tasty to eat! What really made our stay exceptional, though, was Alexandros our host. He went above and beyond in every way. It was my 8 month old son’s first holiday, and to our delight, Alexandros had set up a cot, a high chair, and even left toys for him, it was such a thoughtful gesture that meant the world to us. We were also welcomed with fresh fruit, bottled water, beach towels, and so many little touches that showed real care and hospitality, which nowadays is hard to find! Golden Fox Villa is honestly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and we can’t recommend it enough. We’ve already told friends and family about it, and we truly hope to return one day. Thank you so much, Alexandros, for making our first family holiday so incredibly special!
