Haus Wagrain

Very good location for jumping on/off Ski Buses.

Room & facilities great, however a bit of a trek on foot into Wagrain centre to the Billa once Ski Buses have stopped running. That said, a great place to stay. Well recommended.

We stayed at Haus Wagrain for 8 days as a family of three (2+1) on a ski trip, in Apartment No. 2, and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and quiet. Everything looked either new or extremely well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for self-catering, which made our stay very comfortable. A lovely detail was the sound of a mountain stream – when you open the windows in both rooms, you can hear the relaxing flow of water, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The location is excellent: about a 10-minute walk along a beautiful path by the stream to the center of Wagrain. Just 6 minutes on foot in the direction of the town, there is a very well-stocked bakery, open even on Sunday mornings. The ski bus stop (Tankstelle, next to the BP gas station) is right by the house. The W1 ski bus quickly takes you to both Grafenberg and Flying Mozart lifts within a few minutes. There is also a ski room with boot dryers, which is very convenient. You can even walk to the Flying Mozart lift via a shortcut (about 20 minutes), although it’s slightly uphill. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. They respond quickly and speak very good English, always happy to provide useful information. We are very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone considering a visit to Wagrain.
