It is not a standard apartment to stay. Very old and shabby. And for luggage it’s very difficult to lift those in upper stairs

It was way more better then I expected !

Everything was great! I guess they just changed the building and everything. That is why their reviews are bad. I was afraid but it turned out so good ! The location is good. There is a bus called 6/6L to the venice center. It takes just like 20 minutes. There are cafes,bars supermarkets around. I booked single room. Evrything was clean.

Worries/ stress for check-in

Only response to your message on check in day. I messaged for luggage storage before check in for few times. No response. I waited 1 hour outside and need to ask for help from others as i didn't have WiFi/ phone call to contact them or receive their last minute check in information. Non response to phone call when i asked someone to help me to call them The property and the room is ok . But be prepared for difficulty to check in as what i experienced as well as other reviews written. If they can improve this，it will be a great accommodation. And i will give 10.

Low price medium quality

Price and proximity to Venise and basic stores.

Missing sheets, some parts of the establishment (including the bathroom and the kitchen) were not clean, the towel warmer even had some rust on it. The rooms had a musty smell and are poorly equipped and that's without mentioning the decoration. Good for the price but definitely should level up their game because it could be much more welcoming.

Lovely stay with 2 friends room was very spacious and bathroom was good size, powerful shower as well. We walked from Venice Mestre station only takes 10 mins The hosts were extremely accommodating when we had issues with our trains and arrival time.

Despite the modest conditions and the mosquitoes that were biting us all night, it was great that we found a cheap place where we could leave our backpacks and wait for our flight. The host was very nice and the bedding was fresh

Location is better than any other accommodation. Host is ver kind. And I can listen Venezia tour information from the host. I can feel safe with thorough security. It is closed to supermarket and transportation.

Bring insect repellant

The staff were very polite whenever I spoke to them. The bathroom was modern and comfortable. Good shower. The location was very good. Close to the train station. Nice and quiet. As it was very cheap, it was good value for money.

The kitchen upstairs lacked a drying rack for plates and cutlery. As a result all the plates and bowls were always wet. Many mosquitoes in our room, spots of blood on the walls from past visitors swatting them. If the patch of damp weeds outside the room were cleared, this problem might be resolved. I ended up being bitten over 15 times as I slept. At the start of our stay we were told by the man who checked us in to leave our city tax payment in the bedside table when we leave. Despite this, the owner contacted us during our stay to say that we had unpaid city tax, and we had to return to the property early to pay the cash. The headboard of our bed was extremely loud and creaky whenever we moved even slightly on it. Not necessarily a negative point, but visitors should note that this is NOT a hotel, but a guesthouse. That means there is no front desk, and rooms and towels are not cleaned.

It was very spacious and we appreciated the shared kitchen with a kettle.

Our neighbour's door were right next to ours, and made a very loud sound everytime they'd open or close their door, which woke us up. So just not very soundproof.

Sleeping outside is better

I was lucky to stay for only one night.

I was here in mid January and it was incredibly cold. I'm talking under 7 degrees C. The host is trying to save money on the heat. There was absolutely no hot water for radiators, sink or shower until late evening. Then when there was, the small radiator got only barely warm. Had to sleep with multiple layers of clothes on. The stone floor at the ground floor was cold as ice.

Well, that's just a room with a bed and access to toilet. Everything worked fine. Host replying quickly on Booking messages. Walking distance to train station, a bus to Venezia just a stone's throw away.

The bus stop going to the island of Venice is really close by. Also a Lidl and some other supermarkets are within walking distance.

There were dozens of mosquitos an a cockroach in our room which made it difficult to get a good night's rest.

A hidden gem

On arrival didn't know where exactly it was as no sign. However the owner phoned me and helped me find the place

Worst than expected

The shower is hot and works fine. It is very close to bus stop that takes to veneza and close to maestro bus station.

There is no worker that stays in the place. If you are unlucky and there are noisy and messy people in another rooms there is no one to stop noise and mess. The doors don't insulate the sound, they are very bad. The bedrooms we stayed are no the same from the pictures. Shared bathroom has one shower and toilet, making its use very limited if there are a lot of people.

wow, the house has a kitchen room. We lived in ground floor. there are 3 rooms should share the bathroom. But it is not busy at all. The location is very quite and convenient. There are many bus station nearby for Venice.
