Location and the cottage itself
The heater makes some noise and wakes you up during the night.

My husband and I needed an overnight stay while we were on our way to visit family in Vermont, after a flight to Albany NY. We absolutely loved our little cabin and wished we had booked 2 nights just because it was so cute & relaxing with beautiful surroundings. Friendly, helpful owner who suggested a late afternoon walk around the lake at nearby Shaftsbury State Park (5 minute drive). One needs a car for everything here, but we expected that. We had eaten a very late lunch at the Blu Benn in Bennington, so we just needed some snacks in the evening. Loved having a good sized fridge and microwave and an outside table. Wish we had paid attention the the outdoor firepit because the weather was perfect for an outdoor fire. In the morning, we took a walk up the path from the cabins. Bed, bedding and sofa were comfy, shower just right.
nothing at all!!
