The room was great & the manager was very friendly!! The room was very clean & comfortable!!

The location was excellent. We were traveling from the Washington DC area on our way to New Hampshire and it was a good stoping off place. The cottage was very clean and the beds very comfortable

This started out as a comedy of errors - but the owners made it all wonderful by the end. First, we went to the closed motel next door (look for yellow cottages NOT the blue motel); then my reservation was for July and we showed up in August! The owners could have given us a lot of grief - but they were so friendly and helpful! We really appreciated the ways they went above and beyond to help work things out for us. Our stay was worth it! The motel was conveniently located on the main road so you didn't have to go out of your way. But the cottages are placed along a small lane perpendicular to the road and a line of trees block other nearby locations so that you feel as though you are camping. When we looked out our windows in the morning we saw trees and heard birdsong. The rooms in cottage #1 are small but immaculate. We had all we needed for a quiet overnight and there are lots of things to do and places to eat nearby. The owners are happy to make suggestions and have lots of flyers in the office. Each cottage has perfectly manicured lawn for parking and play with small children. Across the small gravel lane is a picnic table, lamp post, and grill for each cottage. A/c was much appreciated during the summer and a microwave and dorm fridge are handy when traveling. Some of the inside decor is dated - but that added to the charm. This small family business goes out of its way to be helpful and welcoming! I would definitely stay here again.
