Comfortable vacation home—great location and view, south-facing, quiet, surrounded by nature

Spacious, comfortable bungalow in a beautiful and peaceful natural setting at the upper end of a small bungalow village, situated at an elevation of just under 900 meters on a south-facing slope—with views of the Danube Plain and the Salzburg Alps.

If you’re planning a vacation with two families or three generations, appreciate nature, want to spend time together, enjoy hiking, or want to do winter sports with children, this is the perfect place for you. If you’d rather relax, read a book, and soak up the sun while your children jump on the trampoline, play bocce, croquet, or Viking chess, you’ll love the tranquility of our home, the terraces, and the garden in the sunny forest.

The bungalow features a truly spacious kitchen-living room with a sofa, a cozy corner bench, and a very large oak table that seats ten to twelve people—if needed—with direct access to two south-facing terraces. The game and TV room offers a lovely place to retreat.

The house sleeps eight people in the following bedrooms: two double bedrooms (double beds) and a children’s bedroom with 2 × 2 bunk beds (each 90 × 200 cm).

The vacation home has mobile internet via GigaCube. Streaming (videos, media libraries) works, as does connecting to corporate networks or participating in video conferences. The capacity may reach its limits if multiple devices are streaming videos simultaneously.

Summer information:
The natural stone terraces with two large cantilever umbrellas and the garden offer plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice. A lovely, flat play area with a trampoline, soccer goals, and a variety of garden games—including a new table tennis table on wheels that can be set up outdoors—offers fun for all ages.

Depending on the harvest season, you can snack on Mayberries, raspberries, gooseberries, currants, and serviceberries in the garden, or harvest elderflowers.

Winter Information:
Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, cross-country skiing: Steinberglift.de (ski season expected to run until March 2) is within walking distance and features a modern snowmaking system, a children’s area, a ski and snowboard school, and equipment rental. Additional ski lifts are available in Langfurth. The Schöfweg cross-country trails are less than 10 minutes away by car. The Klingenbrunn/National Park cross-country trails are about 25 minutes away.
The ping-pong table and gas grill are not available in winter!
