Extremely well equipped & secure

Everything was excellent from the beginning. cathy was exceptionally great helping us navigate our first time here at Cap d’Agde. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience!

All was great.We really have nothing bad to say!

The apartment itself was lovely. It was very clean and spacious and the facilities were really good. Loved the balcony and location as well.

Despite knowing we were arriving, we could not get hold of the concierge Cathy who had the keys to the apartment and was meant to let us in. We kept calling her number but it kept going through to voicemail. We waited an hour in the car and then started calling all the other numbers listed on booking.com and our reservations. We spoke to the manager who said he would try calling her and let us know. We called him again about half an hour later and he said he couldn't get hold of her either. So this went on for a few hours and then the manager finally said he would come out on his scooter and give us a second copy of the keys. He let us in and gave us the keys and door code to the outside of apartment. We went out that night and got back about 2am and the door code didn't work!! Tried calling both Cathy and the manager but nobody answered so we ended up being stuck outside in the cold (it was quite windy) for over an hour. LUCKILY someone else staying at the apartment came back and let us in, otherwise we would've been out there till 8am because we later found out that the door code only works from 8am-8pm and in between those times a fob is needed which we weren't given as Cathy had the only one!! We eventually got hold of Cathy the following day who came by about midday to give us our fob and didn't even seem bothered that we had been trying to contact her or that we got locked out for over an hour in the cold. It was a shame because the apartment was lovely but we would never stay here again because Cathy was useless and totally unreliable. The manager needs to ensure there is a spare fob in the future in case this happens again and that there is another member of staff in the village who can let guests in when Cathy goes AWOL.
