Villa Zeas

The arrival instructions were very clear with the keys in a lockbox. Any communication was replied to promptly. The villa was really clean and nice touches throughout the villa to show the owner cares, wanting you to have a great stay. The pool was excellent with pool towels supplied which is a great touch. Overall the villa had high quality finishes and seating has been thought about as there are many seating areas which gave you seating in the shade at any time of day. The air conditioning worked very well in all rooms with the bedrooms being very well furnished (including TVs in each) and lovely bathrooms with great showers. You definitely need a car to stay here.

There is a carbon copy villa being built on the grassy area behind this villa. It was a shock to see this on arrival as the photos show an open area behind the villa and it wasn't mentioned to us after booking. Saying that, it was not being worked on whilst we were there, so we had no issues with building work at all. The downstairs toilet had a leak so there was water on the floor constantly. We kept mopping it up but it was back within minutes so we didn't use that toilet. The double room upstairs had a broken toilet seat. These were only minor issues and they did not lessen our enjoyment.

Absence quasi totale de réseau téléphone et wifi très faible (à peine dans les pièces de vie principales) ce qui complique la communication avec les propriétaires, les proches ou simplement pour le divertissement (Spotify, YouTube, etc)

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und mit 6 Personen kann man dort einen traumhaften Urlaub verbringen. Der Poolbereich und die dazugehörigen Liegen + Schirme sind toll. Es ist abgelegen und sehr ruhig, man braucht auf jeden Fall 1 Auto. Erholungwert = optimal!!! Zur Begrüßung stand Wein und Brot und Kuchen bereit - alles, sehr lecker und echt nett! Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und unsere 10 Tage dort sehr genossen Schöner Strand und tolle Tavernen in der Nähe! 1 x in der Woche sogar Reinigung und frische Betten und Handtücher!

Der Kontakt lief in unserem Fall ausschließlich über Booking - der Vermieter ist nicht vor Ort! Wir hatten Startschwierigkeiten - begonnen mit dem nicht zu öffnenden Tor (angeblich wurde alles geprüft und sei in Ordnung) Das Tor hat aber mit der Sonne / Hitze Probleme - Abends läuft es einwandfrei, tagsüber öffnet es nur mit Tricks oder eben gar nicht.... Die Spülmaschine bringt kein sauberes Geschirr hervor, trotz Klarspüler / Salz, Reinigung mit Essig etc. - also mit der Hand spülen war angesagt - (dies ist wohl auch bekannt laut Säuberungskraft.) Elektriker wg. Poollicht und Klempner wg. Toilette mussten kommen (da funktionierte die Kommunikation einwandfrei und die Fehler wurden sofort behoben) Kaffeemaschine funktioniert nicht! (ich wollte aber nach 2 x Kontakt nicht mehr maulen, wir haben uns beholfen und Kaffee altherkömmlich aufgebrüht) Leider ist die Ausstattung der Küche für 6 Personen nicht ausreichend und das ist sehr schade, weil das Haus wirklich toll ist! (Vorredner haben es auch schon bemängelt) Kochen mit den vorhandenen Utensilien erforderte viel Improvisation. Da wäre es gut, wenn aufgestockt würde (vor allem ein scharfes Messer, Schüsseln, Schneidebrett, Besteck etc.)

Great location in a quiet part of Corfu. More rural, but with lovely beaches and tavernas nearby. The house was absolutely stunning with fab views out to the sea in the distance. The real highlight for us was the the pool area which was fantastic and we spent a lot of time sitting by the pool. Lovely pastries and wine on arrival as well.

Everything was perfect. The only criticism would be the lack of basic equipment. For example, there is a great outdoor kitchen with bbq and pizza oven, but not really anything to cook with. You get 95% of what you need, but just a couple of things that you don't. But this wouldn't stop me coming back! I definitely would!
