Overall, I had a great experience, I wish the pool was clean so I could swim, but other than that, I had a wonderful experience, and the owner was nice, always ready to assist.

The fact the pool was not ready

I had a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay at Rooikrans Guest House. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully arranged, offering a peaceful retreat after long days. I felt completely at ease thanks to the secure environment, which gave me peace of mind throughout my visit. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for staying connected or getting work done without interruption. And the hot showers? A daily luxury that made all the difference. Every detail was well taken care of, making it a stay I’d happily recommend to others.

One small detail that affected my comfort was that the fan in my room wasn’t working during my stay. While everything else was well taken care of, having a functioning fan would have made the space even more pleasant, especially on warmer days. I’d recommend checking that all fans are in working order before guests arrive, as it’s a simple fix that can make a big difference in the overall experience.

The area and the size of the room. The host was reachable and easy check-in and out process.

The bedding was not good. It looked dirty even though the staff said it was clean when I asked for it to be changed. maybe it’s just an old set but it was not comfortable. I ended up removing it from the bed and using my own throw.
