Emerald Suites

excellent location and great service

I think the apartment is amazing! It's very spacious, the terrace is also wonderful, with direct sea views. The three bedrooms each with it's own bathroom are also great! The pool area is great, on the photos it seems like there are no sunbeds but there is a couple with the umbrellas as well, which was great. You also have some cleaning supplies, and some salt and pepper, which was also good. :) The lobby area with the gym, table tennis and billiard table are also wonderful addition to the facilities. The location is amazing, so close to three different little beaches and far away from any crazy loud promenades etc.

There was three pots, but not a single frying pan, so we had to buy our own one. :(

Location is excellent. Spacious. Gerry the property manager is great.

Needs a bit of maintenance.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Bay. The apartment itself was excellent and we genuinely couldn’t fault it. It was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed, including air conditioning, a hairdryer, Smart TV and plenty of space to dine and relax as a family. It was just as pictured, and the wrap-around terrace was a real bonus, providing welcome shade during the hottest part of the day. We were also very grateful that we were allowed to stay an additional hour beyond check-out time.

Unfortunately, the pool area let the complex down. The pool was dirty and appeared unattended for several days, and there are still only 8 sun loungers for the entire complex. I visited five years ago and suggested investing in more loungers then, so it was disappointing to see that nothing has changed. This results in a scramble for sunbeds if you want to use the pool. There is also a new development being built directly in front of the apartments, which is a shame as the sea views are no longer visible. Thankfully, this wasn’t directly in front of Block A where we stayed. With the new apartments soon adding competition, I think Emerald Bay would really benefit from investing in the upkeep of the pool area and providing more loungers. Finally, we couldn’t find anyone on the complex to check out with, so I left the key on the reception desk.
