Alghero Villa Claire de Lune con piscina privata

The pool is really nice and quite big. It was very clean and very beautifully designed. The garden is also very pretty and regularly maintained. There are lovely terraces both front and back with a roof covering each side to give shade. We regularly had breakfast on the front terrace. The house is very pretty and the style/ furniture is also quite nice, although some pieces have seen better days. The house can also function as two seperate apartments, since the two floors have separate entrances, but are also connected with an inside staircase. This was great for us, since we were two families with kids, plus grandparents (10 people total), all of us with different routines. Both the owner and Claudia were very welcoming. Claudia gave us lots of tips on what to see, where to go - we had a lovely vacation thanks to her help and got to see some really special places that we would have otherwise missed. In addition to the two kitchens on each floor of the house, there is also an outside kitchen, a gazebo, an extra toilet and shower and also a shower next to the pool. Some of the appliances are old, but fully functional. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the rooms of the house was really convenient.

There are no mosquito nets on any of the doors or windows of the house. There were several plug-in repellents, but we couldn't use them because we had young children and a baby. We opened the windows for the first night to let in the fresh, cool night air, but ended up full of mosquito bites. The upstairs rooms got super warm during the day and the air conditioner wasn't working in one of the rooms. A repairman was supposed to come, but never showed up. One of the beds was losing tiny pieces.
