The Grand Verano Chateau is a new 5 bedroom / 5.5 bath luxury home occupying one of the most tranquil beach streets in the area. Only 400 meters from our world-famous beach where you can play in the sun during the day and have a bonfire while watching the sunset. Experience award-winning golf at nearby Seascape or The Links Golf Club. Enjoy a scenic walk along the beach boardwalk. Take the low-speed vehicle to the beach, shopping, or award-winning restaurants located just a block away. The heated** swimming pool and adjacent cornhole field are located near the house.
Grand Verano Chateau is near Destin Florida’s main attractions including nightlife, golfing, fishing, shopping and more. Check-In and Check-Out times are strictly enforced since our maintenance crew and cleaners will occupy the parking spots from 10 AM - 4 PM. There is a minimum fee of $200 for leaving after the posted time because this prohibits the staff from completing the job and will interrupt the next guest’s vacation.
You have access to the Miramar Public Beach by Pompano Joe's.
4 portable beach chairs are provided in the garage for your convenience.
The home is provided with one low-speed vehicle. (Driver must be over 25 years old and sign waiver)
The paved driveway can accommodate up to 4 standard vehicles.
No RV's, trailers, buses or oversized vehicles allowed.
**Pool is heated to 80F from Nov - March.
Spa Quality amenities featuring high thread count hypoallergenic linens, towels, and a starter set of soaps, shampoo, and lotions are provided.
AGE REQUIREMENT – Spring Break college groups are not allowed. No reservations will be made to students or singles under the age of twenty-five (25). One (1) guardian of twenty-five years or older is required for every four (4) singles under the age of twenty-five. Guardians must accompany anyone under the age of twenty-five (25) at all times and be present during check-in. Underage drinking and/or partying are not allowed in any of the rental units. Non-compliance with these rules and regulations will result in immediate eviction with no return of any and all payments made.

Well the house was beautiful and looked like description. The beds were comfortable to see in. The kitchen needed more essentials like condiments. The bathroom definite needed more towels for the amount of people. We had to wash towels nightly. We should had been informed before arrival we could not wash our beach towels in the washer or dry in dryers. That was disgusting because most houses I have stayed in provided beach towels or allow you to was I their machines. So when you only bring two and can’t wash was an inconvenience. Aldo on the first day of arrival, the golf cart had a flat tire. We did not get it fixed until end of second day, another disappointment. So on arrival and next day we could not utilize golf cart. I felt we were short changed. The back door is difficult to lock, so we did not find out until the second night and it was not addressed in a timely manner. I didn’t expect it to get done at 9:30 that night, but after about 2pm the next day, no one had responded to messsge left on bomb. I calked and it was ih well that ‘s a ???? Kind of lock and you have to pull up on it a special way to get it to lock. There need to be a sign about that in the house b/c we didn’t open that door until second night. So we felt unsafe with having to go to bed with the back door unlock . And no urgency to call me back I had to call back. Other than those things we enjoyed the house and had a wonderful time.

The house is well maintained. Love the double washer and dryers. The linens and bed were comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect!!! The golf cart was great to have. The only things, I would request the pots and pans to be updated. There also was some cooking utensils missing. The cable system barely worked. Also there was not enough towels and face clothes for our group. But besides those things the house was GREAT!!!

I recently stayed here for a month with my family. There were between 4 and 15 of us staying here during that time. The property is in a great location, big enough for all of us, a few houses away from the pool, an easy walk to the beach. We all enjoyed the golf cart. The property manager was amazingly responsive to us. Anything we needed, they were there quickly and were very helpful.
On the downside, this house has clearly been used a lot and is showing signs of neglect. Pictures missing off the wall, bedside lamps missing, lots of scuff marks on the walls, some areas of the wall touched up with different paint than the original, areas that have been cleaned with chemicals (behind toilets, along baseboards) glowing an irridescent green. There were only a few hangers in each closet. We received only two small teatowels for the kitchen for the entire stay, and some necessary kitchen items such as measuring cups & spoons, corkscrew etc were missing. Definite lack of teaspoons and decent wine glasses as well. No extra sheets or blankets on site but quickly provided on request. I think what's needed is a good going over for maintenance items and a thorough inventory before each set of guests arrive.
Despite the minor inconveniences, we really enjoyed our February in Florida and our stay in this house and hope to return next year.

We enjoyed our trip. The home is aesthetically pleasing, but there were some areas(floors and couches) that need a thorough deep cleaning. We made the property managers aware, but they did not send anyone out and advised they were a few weeks behind on steam cleaning availability. We enjoyed the pool and the use of the golf cart was a major plus. Beach access is not walkable for small children. Overall, the home was well equipped for our needs as we did a lot of cooking and/or preparing meals, and there was space for everyone to relax.
