Love the old world charm, quiet & off the beaten path.

If you are traveling without a car it is a challenge to get there & there are no grocery stores within walking distance.

The setting and location were beautiful. The evening restaurant was great and the staff helpful. The furnishings in the room really nice as were the amenities provided. Shower was great - did need a mat for the floor though as when the shower door opened it left a pool of water. The TV was good but no instructions.

I didn't have breakfast as I requested but told that I couldn't have before 08.15 and then that depended on if the receptionist was there in time The room had a damp/old odour to it and was very dark due to the heavy thick curtains, blinds might be better in the summer. Limited space to hang clothes and only one hanger in the cupboard. The attitude of the staff. The fact that I think I was on my own all night, in the middle of a park and there was not a night porter on duty, well not that we could find! The electronic lock on the main door to the block where my room (3) was broke. I couldn't get out of the building. I wandered through to the restaurant but there was no way to the main building through there. I didn't want to try the restaurant door as it looked as if it was alarmed. Luckily my colleague was coming to pick me up. On her arrival I threw the keys to her from my room balcony, but the outer fob wasn't working either. My colleague found a cleaner who didn't help much. we chanced it and I opened the restaurant door, luckily it wasn't alarmed). My colleague had brought me breakfast but there was no where to get a coffee. The receptionist arrived and was not apologetic at all, didn't even offer a complimentary coffee! When my colleague mentioned about breakfast the reply she got was 'I told you 8.30'!! I do appreciate that my stay coincided with the events that happened in near by Nanterre, however, having worked in the hospitality industry myself it is as times like that when guests should be made to feel even more welcome and 'safe'! Our company hosts guests from around the world, and this would have been a delightful location for them to stay or for us to entertain them. However, after my experience we won't be recommending this anytime soon.

It was raining so it would have been nice to have a way through the hotel to the reception. But thats a minor detail.

Staff is lovely and very flexible approach. This was very much appreciated. The location is amazing, calm and great for sports lovers. Perfect place for playing Tennis, running, walking. Loved having lunch on the terrace of the Verger whilst enjoying the sunshine. Little gem of a place. Everyone loved it !

The furniture in the room could be updated but main beds were super comfy and bathrooms are modern and clean.

Location is great, it's right by the river with a walking trail and a foresty path close by - perfect if you have dogs that can roam around freely! My dog is so happy here I stayed an extra night. It's 30 minute drive to the center of Paris if there's no traffic, which never happens for me, but on the way back it is right about 30 minutes. On the way into Paris it is more like 50 minutes, so be prepared! However I am in awe that such a short distance from Paris is this secluded little hidden gem!

if you don’t speak any French it might become a little challenging. But you will manage with some good will.
