150 steps to the main square

We stayed in the 162 steps apartment which is perfectly situated to visit the historic centre and enjoy Ljubljana’s riverside bars and restaurants. It’s hard to imagine a better location. We had kitchen facilities sufficient to make meals and we appreciated the AC as we visited the city during a heat wave. Though we didn’t make use of it (too hot!), the garden would provide an additional relaxing space after a sightseeing day.

We really liked the property and appreciated the information provided. It’s worth noting that it is compact, 20 m2 in total I think, so bear this in mind if you have lots of luggage. Our apartment’s windows looked out onto the main landing/stairs which slightly impacts privacy if you forget to close the blinds!

Close to the city centre

No complaints except maybe better pillows for the bed

The property is in the old town, it is a fifteen minute walk from the railway and bus station. The name is not misleading, it is a short walk to the square. The main market is a few minutes walk and the fortress and funicular railway less than ten minutes walk. The bar next to the apartment is great, friendly staff and good prices. There is a table and chairs outside the apartment for alfresco dining or drinks. The apartment is clean and is ideal for one or two people. I would definitely stay there again.

An extra pillow each but that is personal preference.

Location was amazing! Perfect for exploring Ljubljana and only 10 min walk to bus station to get to airport / Bled etc. Good communication from hosts. Pleasant enough place to stay.

Apartment was basic and felt a bit grubby.
