As a solo guy I'd stay again.The upper deck provided a relaxation zone & privacy. Nicely furnished.

Put a peephole on door #10. Convenient location but the walk around the building to #10 needs paving and a flood light. I doubt whether women would feel comfortable back there!

Good location but the room was underwhelming

The location was great! Nice and close to downtown.

The setup of the room was just not ideal. This is a small thing, but the TV was not positioned to be watched while in bed. Just putting it on an adjustable arm would do the trick. And it was just a bit run down overall. It was clean, but underwhelming.

The minuses wouldn’t stop me from staying here again for a night or two

Warm and comfortable bed, great shower, close to town for walking. Not having to deal with a room key was a bonus. the online staff were helpful as I came from the Uk and didn’t have an American phone number needed to get the room information to get into the room.

The coffee maker had mouldy coffee bags in it, the road noise was too loud for me to sit out side. I prefer staying someplace where someone is in reception. This is an older motel, not even a vending machine for a snack or drinkable water, the room door chain lock was missing as it appeared someone had broken down the door and broken off part of the door frame.

Painful check in process left me locked out late at night

Unable to check in on arrival due to broken iPhone app that is required to check in. On site staff was unhelpful. Left many messages and voicemails. Only after contacting booking.com customer services did the owner finally sent me my door code. That was about 45 min after arrival and much frustration trying to get help.

Short stay and never again!

We were able to check in 30 mins after our online booking at 8pm.

The room was very unclean, to the point my husband and I point looked at one another debating on whether to sleep in the vehicle or not. There was snot smeared all over the bathroom wall along with hair from the previous guest. The floors had not been mopped in many stays.

Watch out for dog poop and being barked at...

Clean

Owner or Operator has 2 large dogs with only a dog gate across her motel unit. She just lets the dogs go out from and craps and does not pick up after the dogs. The dogs also bark.

Nice, well equipped motel accommodation, walking distance from downtown Durango (10 minutes or so). Check in and out is a completely digital experience., efficient!

Separate kitchen with dishes, pans! Refrigerator. LOT of square footage. Best price for two bedrooms in area... great value, overall! Supply closet w stuff to pick up kinda makes up for lack of staff on site. Responsive owner(?) By text.

No staff on site. Beds are so high off the ground if you're old you might need a boost lol. 3rd "bed" is the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on. Flst screen TV not large, at awkward angle 45° away from opposite beds.

Cozy night stay, great value for money

Located at a non high traffic area, very quiet at night, beds were cozy, bathroom were clean. Good wifi, they have TVs but we didnt use it. Everything a good motel can be. Besides, we were there only for a night after a long day drive. Its a contactless hotel but the staff were still helpful in the dead of night due to one of my friend forgot the password to our room.

We are well aware of this 2 star motel, we wouldnt expect everything needs to be tip top, but cleanliness-wise, at the very least, please mop the floor, some people likes to walk barefoot within the room/house. My only complaint is the dirty floor. Thats it.

Needed to be cleaned. Food and filth on the kitchen walls. Towels were stained and worn through. Insulation was poor - you could hear road noise all night. Won't be staying there again.

Cheaper than the other hotels in the area, but it still feels like a bit less than I paid for.

The mini-fridge was pretty nice. The air conditioner worked well. There was hot water in the shower.

There were many bugs in our room. The paint was peeling in several places. The bathroom fixtures were quite rusted.

For $180 per night, this motel was seriously overpriced.

Location was easy to find

No place to hang clothes, no drawers, no luggage rack, ghoulish lighted mirror, reading lights were exposed bulbs, sheets were microfiber - felt hot and clammy, parking space was difficult to get in and out of. We would not stay there again.

Family on Harleys. Loved the fact that our bikes were right outside the door/room and it was well lit throughout the night. Saw multiple police patrols come through the parking lot throughout the night. Very comfy and excellent bang for the buck. Centrally located in town and easy access to sites/restaurants/etc.

We didn’t get to stay.

Nothing bc I was unable to stay due to the property not having my reservation.

I had confirmation number and booked several weeks in advance. However, when my family of 4 and my elderly parents got to the property, the property didn’t have my reservation. They did try to offer me a room that was old and not updated, but it was disgusting and didn’t accommodate 6 people. We stayed here a couple of years ago and had a great experience, however, I won’t be booking again.

Was signed up for king and twin with kitchen. Got two singles and a coffee pot. No cups. No coffee. Baseboards were coming off. No knob in hot water in tub. No dressers etc. two straight chairs and desk chair. Head board was missing from bed.

We were there all of five minutes. The bed had bed bugs. We saw the person on duty go in and swipe the dead ones off of the comforter.

Don't stay there!

Didn't like anything. Beds ok.

Just about everything. It was old, musty, outdated furniture. Some lights didn't work. Grounds were unkempt and there were piles of trash at one end of the building. Also charged $50 for my 2 small dogs, which for where it was and what it was, seemed unreasonable. I have photos of the trashy scene. Do not recommend.

Wait and see if you can find something else till remodel is done

I have stayed here multiple times. I always liked have options to cook my food instead of eating out everyday. Rooms that I get are very large and comfortable.

My reservation was lost. The room I had was covered in stickers and was not very clean compared to other times I had stayed. Got woke up two mornings in a row to move my car for garbage truck. They were in the middle of remodeling and cleanliness suffered from it. There was a guest who looked like she was living there and was very noisy in the middle of the night. Not to mention she was hoarding a bunch of junk in front of her room.

Bed mattress was broke down a little in our room (16). We left early on Tuesday morning to go on the train ride out the maid wanted sign on our doors 15 & 16 returned form Silverton train ride about 8PM and our rooms hadn’t been touched no clean towels my wife and I had to shower and dry off with wet dirty towels we picked up off floor called the phone # no answer left msg no response my wife was upset called the emergency # a recording she left msg explaining its not a emergency but couldn’t get hold of anyone and we never heard back my other brother in room 18 had his room cleaned 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ All 3 of us left the maid sign on the door
