As advertised, the apartment is in a historical building right next to a piazza. We enjoyed being able to be centrally located in the city with plenty to visit nearby. Our host also secured us parking for our cars for the duration. Note that Genoa is an older city with many narrow streets which may not appeal to all. Having AC in the apartment was very nice after a hot summer day in Genoa.

The property was beautiful and very clean. The elevator was big enough for people and luggage. Our host was incredibly helpful. We loved the neighborhood too, very close to the Cathedral di San Lorenzo, several museums, shopping, and food. If I'm ever back in Genova I'd love to stay there again.

We checked in on Saturday and air conditioner did not work. They didn’t get it fixed until Friday, the night before our departure. The only semi comfortable place to sit is the sofa bed in the living room, which was broken and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Our guests wound up putting the mattress on the floor to sleep. Other than seating for 2 on the sofa, others had to sit on dining room’s chairs, so no comfortable relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Kitchen was not stocked very well. The location of the apartment was very good, close to everything. Despite the problems, the hosts were responsive. This apt would be great for 2, just ok for 4, and marginally ok for 6

Everything was perfect, living among the locals was def ideal! From the location of our flat, the host, the accommodations in the flat, how everything from food, markets, sites, etc were all within walking distance; PERFECT! If there is one thing we did desire it is to install a small rack in the shower to hold soap/loofa and shampoo as we had to put all that on the shower floor and to include a small sheet on how to work the washing machine in the bathroom, the stove in the kitchen; that's it!!! I am only mentioning this because I plan on returning to that same flat and host because I do not want any other! Thank you for an amazing and very delightful and memorable experience :) <3

Very pleasant stay overall. The house looks exactly as advertised and the location is very pretty. The train station is a 15 minute walk so we recommend going on a day trip to Camogli or Portofino. The kitchen has all the supplies you might need if you want to cook. Internet connection is stableish. The only annoying thing is that you can’t forget to turn the air conditioning off before cooking or the power will go out.
