Good location for us. A lot of extras provided.. laundry products, & kitchen & bathroom items were appreciated, as was use of garage. LR area rug needs to be replaced, it only looks clean underneath the coffee table. The rest of the house was clean & tidy.

Highest recommendation! The home is great. It's well equipped and clean. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of space. The parking place is very covenient. We could easily cook in the nice kitchen. The grill was an added bonus. The location is great. The neighborhood is safe. Public transportation is close for an easy trip into downtown. Many stores and restaurants are within walking distance. We enjoyed the birds, trees and squirrels. It felt like an oasis from the bustling city. Check in and communication were perfect. We had a wonderful stay!

This house was PERFECT for us during our time in Chicago. Located in a beautiful and quiet western suburb, it was lovely to return to after a day in the city. Very easy to take the El to get to and from downtown. The house was absolutely what the pictures show. Roomy and clean. I would definitely stay there again!!

We really appreciated the yard and dog crate for our pup. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house and great neighborhood. It was also nice to have our own parking and not having to pay extra. Everything was very straightforward and l was initially worried because one of my kids is highly sensitive to scents and gets sick easily when exposed to that but I was happy to realize that the house was cleaned with non toxic products and was not scented but still smelled fresh and awesome .l will be booking with you again. It is very cute and conveniently located in a nice neighborhood (Oak Park/Forest Park areas) with easy access to 290 that takes you straight to the heart of downtown Chicago. The house had many amenities and you can tell the hosts are very considerate/thoughtful. Would highly recommend!

The home is warm and inviting just like the pictures. Parking in the back of the house was easy. We cooked several times, pans, spices and dishes are available. The neighborhood is only about 20 minutes from downtown Chicago. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed our stay

My friend and I used this property as home base for a weekend trip to Chicago. The green line is a 5 minute walk, and then 30 minute ride to downtown. We also stopped at the conservatory which was wonderful.The Frank Lloyd Wright house is a 20 minute walk. We ate at several restaurants within walking distance. Citrine was our favorite and the Broken Tart for coffee and cake.The house was very comfortable and well stocked. It is very clean. All the bedrooms are off street side, and very quiet. The dedicated parking spot was great. Parking is tricky in Chicago, so we never drove once we parked at the house. I would definitely recommend this house, we had a wonderful stay.

This is our second time staying at this lovely bungalow for a month. The location cannot be beat. Two blocks to the El, which takes you right into the Loop. It’s walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. It’s in a quiet friendly neighborhood. It has a completely fenced backyard, which was wonderful for us since we were traveling with our dog. The property is very well maintained and there are plenty of supplies and a well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend this house!

This was my first experience booking anything on VRBO and it was such a positive experience. The property was exactly as pictured and described. I was pleasantly surprised to see that even cooking spices and oil were provided, as well as tea and coffee. The location was convenient for my family to visit Chicago and some of the other suburbs. We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful, clean, wonderfully organized, well-stocked home. The location was in a beautiful neighborhood, yet only three minutes from Whole Foods and Walgreens, and an easy drive downtown and to surrounding suburbs. As a runner, I loved the gorgeous jog to and around Thatcher Woods. Having a designated parking spot was amazing. We were visiting family in the area, and will absolutely come back to this home on future visits. Thank you so much for this perfect home away from home!

Jim and Michele’s place was perfect for our friends weekend. It was very close to the metro line and easy to go into downtown when we wanted to. It was also walkable to downtown Oak Park which was very convenient. The house itself was in a quiet neighborhood and had a lot of charm. The house was also clean and had everything we needed during our stay.

Overall stay was amazing. Property had everything we needed. Only thing that caught us off guard was when we were checking out, we didn’t realize that people were coming to do yard work. It would have been nice to know ahead of time since they were opening gates and coming back and forth.

Very nice home in the Chicago suburbs. I'm a single traveler and I found the home and neighborhood comfortable and safe. Easy 7 minute walk to the "L". I travelled downtown and south to multiple destinations without having to drive. I highly recommend this home !

We loved loved loved this property. Seemed like the owners read our minds; they had every single amenities availble. We just had to open a cabinet and the item was there, from oil, spices, coffee, tea and sugar and more. The place was decorated very tastefully and it was very comfortable to stay. This vrbo exceeded expectations from the photos. The vrbo was extemely clean, well maintained, and our dog enjoyed the yard. We also felt very safe walking at night and really enjoyed the proximity to Oak Park attractions, and the green line el stop is a 5 minute walk away. The property was wonderful. A nice clean home with just the right amount of feel of being at home. It felt so spacious and was nearby the cute downtown area. We did a lot of walking but it was so wonderful to have a space to park. The owners were so fast to respond and were so helpful when I realized I would be getting into town earlier than expected. Honestly I plan to book again when we go back to the Chicago area.
