Experience Oahu like a Kama'aina (local) in this 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath waterfront home. Safe community. Views from every room. Private lanai, BBQ grill, boat dock, community swimming pool, and beautifully maintained park / lawn. Walk to dining, shopping, bars, farmers market, hiking, beaches. 5 minutes drive to golf, Hanauma Bay, Koko Head, Makapu’u Lighthouse. 15 minutes drive to Waikiki. Family-friendly, remote working setup with smart home technologies. This is our home away from home, and we'd love to share the beautiful experience with you.
From the moment you walk in the front door, you'll be greeted with a panoramic view of the marina ocean water, gently swaying palm trees, and Koko Head. Enjoy the cool trade wind breeze, the sounds of bird singing, palm trees rustling and the views of tranquility from the living room, dinning room, lanai and bedrooms.
This beautiful home is perfect for long-stay to recharge, rejuvenate, relax and be inspired. Its location is excellent for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the island with comforts & amenities, but without the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the best features of the house is to walk out to the water and the grassy park area directly from the lanai. Play a ball game, practice yoga, relax in the hammock and enjoy the gorgeous sunset with a nice glass of wine. The common areas for this home include a swimming pool, parks, two boating docks to launch your kayak, paddle board and other water toys.
Our home has wireless internet, cable TVs, a computer monitor, an office den, designed for working remotely. A 65 inch smart TV and a bedroom TV are available for you to sign into your streaming services and watch your favorite shows. We love our smart home technologies that would make your stay much more easier and pleasant. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make gourmet meals. A gas BBQ grill is available at the lanai.
Take a 10-minute leisure walk to nearby Koko Marina shopping center to get coffee, shave ice, Leonard's Malasada, or enjoy a night out at local restaurants, bars and farmers market. There are three shopping centers in the Hawaii Kai area, all within walking distance or a 5-minute drive away. There are plenty of activities for the kids. For outdoor lovers, Hanauma Bay, Koko Crater trails, Hawaii Kai golf course are 5-minute drive. Water sport activity clubs and rental shops are in the shopping centers nearby. Rent a boat, a kayak or paddle board and sail into the ocean. Koko Head and Makapu'u trails are great place to hike with breathtaking 360 degree view from the top. If you love the beaches but not the crowds, there are several beautiful local beaches within 3/4 or 2 miles from the property. We provide beach chairs, umbrella, towels, snorkels, toys and a cooler.
Our home only has air conditioning in the master bedroom, yet the breezy trade winds keep the house cool and comfortable. Ceiling fans and portable fans throughout the house. The master bedroom has a king bed, a walk-in closet, a master double-sink bathroom with both shower and bathtub, and has the same gorgeous view of the marina. Two other rooms with a queen and full size bed and a separate bathroom are also located on the second floor. Enjoy the incredible view of the mountains and sometimes rainbow! The bedrooms can sleep 6 people comfortably. We do have extra pillows, sheets, blankets and comforters if additional guests don't mind sleeping on the couch. Please check with the host for additional guests.

It was a beautiful view of a lake and Koko Marina across the other side with a couple of great restaurants. Very family friendly with nice pool only a very short walking distance that my son and daughter in-law enjoyed. Three beaches a few minutes from there and they have lots of beach items in the closet to use. The kitchen was well stocked with any utinsil, pots and pans, dinerware, and even many condiments for your use. Alan and Erin were great hosts even left us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. I had an accident while visiting and had to leave a bit early but they were very nice and called to check on me. So, yes I definitely recommend staying at their beautiful home.

Our family had a great stay at Alan and Erin's place in Hawaii Kai. This townhome on the Marina is perfect for anyone who wants to stay in a well appointed place in a convenient location. We had a perfect stay and we thank Alan and Erin for being super easy to communicate with.
