Designed by accomplished architect, Michael Gomes, Alila is nothing short of an exclusive luxury retreat. Themed with Balinese-inspired elements in earthy hues with pops of colour in the bedrooms, the open-plan structure seamlessly breaks down the boundaries between the enclosed courtyard garden and the relaxing pool deck.
The scene is set from the moment you enter this private escape. The steady hum of the shak-shak trees blowing in the wind, the trickling of the bowl-shaped outdoor fountain and the calming effect of the sweetly scented, lush Caribbean flora provide the perfect frame to Alila’s Zen-like Balinese interior.
Approach the courtyard via a dark wood walkway overlooking a meandering Oriental koi pond and relax in the breezy lounge, or enjoy a meal prepared by your private chef in the elevated dining area that comfortably seats 8-10 people.
Guests who wake up in one of the three downstairs bedrooms, each with its own air condition, iPod dock and en-suite bathroom, will find themselves just steps away from the saline infinity pool and spacious deck and a shady raised gazebo that accommodates 6-8 guests for sunset cocktails overlooking the stunning West Coast.
If you’d like a change in scenery, explore the acre and a quarter of picturesque gardens or take a rest in the cosy, surround-sound media room, outfitted with games, books and a flat-screen TV complemented by a firestick for live streaming or catching up on your favourite movies.

Best family holiday ever!! Alila's architecture and unique family ambience has welcomed us into her bosom as if we were one of her own, creating the feeling of belonging which we have never experienced on a holiday until now. The winning combinations of Jasmine and Paul is in no small way responsible for that. Such kind and caring yet thoroughly professional people, we feel honoured to have met and spent time with them. Jasmine - you keep the villa pristine at all times, make the most delicious cocktails and manage to craft wonderful creations with serviettes and the loo paper! and always with a warm and friendly smile. Paul - I have loved the time spent watching you and learning just a few of your excellent culinary secrets that transforms your dishes from delicious to sublime! I am sure the scales will be proof of how well we have eaten over the two weeks! Thank you for allowing us into your beautiful home. Thank you Paul and Jasmine for a making a wonderful holiday even more special.

Such an amazing place – We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Paul’s food was delicious and Jasmine’s housework was impeccable. It gave us the feel of Barbados and we are so thrilled to come back. The atmosphere and maintenance were all down to Paul and Jasmine.

What a wonderful time we had in this beautiful villa! A special thanks goes to Paul, Jasmine and Kim. Paul for this scrumptious food! Jasmine and Kim for all their hard work, nothing was ever to much for them. We loved spending Christmas Holidays here and we enjoyed sharing the villa with local monkeys. Do not feed them! Thanks again, love the Bards xxx
