Umah Dayuh Uluwatu

The accommodation is tucked behind the main road down a narrow driveway—it is a tight squeeze for cars, but luckily there is a patio area where they can turn around. The room itself is spacious, pretty, and features nice decor with earthy color tones. It comes equipped with a single sofa, two bedside cabinets, a desk and chair, plenty of toilet paper, and a towel rack. There are also chairs and a drying rack outside on the patio. The view looks out over the garage, patio, and surrounding houses which was lovely! Thank you for the stay!

Construction Noise: There is active building work going on on the ground floor during the day. I am not sure how long this project will last, so be aware of daytime noise if you book. The room surfaces needed a quick wipe down before I could unpack my things. My arrival was quite confusing as there was no clear check-in point. The reception area was empty, and I couldn't find anyone upstairs or on the side stairs. I tried using Google Translate to ask the on-site construction workers for help, but they didn't speak English. Fortunately, a staff member eventually came downstairs to check me in. It would have been nice to be informed about this prior to me coming.

The location was good

Smell from the bathroom was awful. I know humidity is a regular thing in Bali, but non of our other places stink and was like this one.

The bed was queen-size and clean. There was a basic kitchen and cooler to store and make food. It was close to a GREAT Warung bakso eatery named ‘Mie Ayam Bakso Solo MASJOE’ — definitely try the Mie Ayam Bakso Ayam out! The personell of this property helped us with a great scooter service.

The bathroom was leaking water and was not as new as you would expect from the pictures. I believe if they would fix that and make the kitchen a bit better, that this would be a steal.
