About this apartment rental
One of the larger casitas at Valentina Holbox. With two queen beds and a full kitchen ready for real cooking — stove, oven, and all. Just one block from Holbox's best beach, and close to restaurants, beach clubs, and bike rentals.
With over 19 years of hospitality experience, our local team is available daily from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with online guest support through Airbnb from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day.
Valentina Holbox is located halfway between the town center and Punta Cocos — a 15-minute beach walk to either one. There's a store just one block away, plus several restaurants and beach clubs nearby. The beach itself is about 30 seconds away, just a short block from your door.
Your casita is private, just for you and your guests. You'll also have access to our shared garden with hammocks and shade, through a coded entrance to the compound.
While many new developments clear Holbox's mangroves and trees, we chose a different path. Valentina Holbox is built smaller and slower, blending into the island's natural beauty rather than replacing it — from our rainwater collection system to our light environmental footprint. Outside your door, a shared garden filled with tall trees, hammocks, and island wildlife offers a peaceful spot to relax between beach days.
Space & Amenities:
Bedroom: Two queen-size beds, air conditioning, safe box, iron, and hairdryer.
Full Kitchen with Stove: Refrigerator, microwave, electric oven, and all the cookware you need, plus complimentary coffee, tea, and purified water.
Work & Entertainment: Starlink Wi-Fi for remote work or streaming, plus a Smart TV — just log into your own streaming accounts.
Outdoor Living: Private patio, perfect for coffee breaks or unwinding after the beach.
A note on the neighborhood: Neighboring construction takes place Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. We've installed thick, sound-insulating windows, but some noise is still audible outdoors and occasionally inside. Our rates reflect this honestly — most guests still find it a peaceful, nature-focused stay, especially evenings, nights, and Sundays.
The island can be explored by bike, golf cart, taxi, or on foot. Bike and golf cart rentals are available from several nearby providers.
Please confirm your total guest count for accurate pricing. Electricity and phone service can occasionally be inconsistent on the island, typically returning within a few hours. After rain, sandy streets may flood — walking along the beach is usually the easier, prettier route into town.
