Escape to a four-season mountaintop getaway in a small, gated community in Banner Elk,. This Modern mountain home beckons you to relax in the spacious open floor plan. Entertain in the open great room w/ stone electric custom lighting fireplace. French doors lead onto the screened back porch. Total of 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 9 guests. Perfect for families, couples getaway, or friends getaway. Relax, renew and recharge with just the right balance of nature, seclusion and convenient location.
The space
A spacious kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless appliances (Convection Oven, Dishwasher, Electric Range, Disposal, and Microwave) and a sunny sitting area which is perfect for curling up with your drink of choice to relax. Right off the spacious kitchen is a dining room for sit down meals. The screened in porch has a custom rustic dining table and pub table, seating for all guest for meals, plus a conversation couch. The flat back yard is fully fenced in with a fire pit and gas grill for star-filled nights with family and friends. Attached two-car garage, large laundry/mudroom with an adjacent multi-purpose room which can be used as an office or hobby room during your stay. One-level home with 3 bedrooms (master king bed with vanity and walk in closet and spa tub, queen bedroom and third bedroom has a queen bed plus twin over twin bunk beds with a trundle) Two full bathrooms, new flooring throughout, and modern mountain decor.

This house is at 4560’ elevation. The access road was paved and easy to navigate. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house itself has very comfortable furniture and the beds are great. There is a large sloped backyard that is fenced in for pets. The kitchen was so well stocked that you really don’t have to bring anything, which I appreciated, since I like to cook. I was there in August for the month and we had very cool mornings and evenings. And several mornings, we were up in the clouds! The neighborhood road was great for walking and looked like a park. The house is close to downtown Banner Elk on a mountain beside Beech mountain. You will enjoy staying here! Kristen was a great host.

We stayed here for the weekend of our son’s wedding. It was a great location for The White Crow venue. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
