Logis Hôtel de France

Great location for walking the old town. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed our dinner a lot.

We attempted numerous times to contact the hotel via the bookings message system to book dinner and find out if they had secure storage for our bikes. We never received a response. Also, the room we booked was a triple bedroom. The pictures on the website made it look larger than it was. I’m not 6 feet tall nor is my wife and we each banged our heads on the ceiling numerous times.

Friendly, relaxed hotel in a beautiful location. The hotels restaurant was exceptional. Easy local parking.

Lovely town centre hotel with restaurant (air-conditioning!). Great location for visiting the chateau (must do for art lovers - the medieval mural was jaw dropping and Tony Cragg in the garden!) Great meal in the evening, Freshly squeezed juice for breakfast.

The village is lovely, small and compact we needed to stay here as our cycle route dictated the miles each day. So the location of hotel for our stay was good. A nice nearby bar serving drinks and food. Would I go back to this hotel... no

Man at reception was not helpful or welcoming. He may have been the manager and he was not personable or hospitable. If you are traveling with bikes don't use... we had to leave ours outside until late. We arrived hot sweaty and tired I was sitting at an outside table only for max 10 minutes and he asked me to move. As he had a table of 9..... I asked if they were here.... as it was before 5pm... no they were not they were coming for dinner after 7ish. Told him I'd payed through booking.com and he repeatedly told us HE pays booking.... not us. My impression was he didn't like booking.com.... however we love the ease of use and ability to search book and pay.
