Very well kept and appointed property. The backyard is great for morning coffee, reading, or nap. Close to a grocery store and a variety of restaurants. Easy access to the freeway. It was a great launch pad for visiting with family, or day trips to SF or the Napa Valley.

We stayed at this property for a wedding and it was great! It was close to some parks for our kid and extremely close to stores. Everything was walkable and we loved having the space! Very clean and made it much easier to see family.

The property was very nice and we had a wonderful time. Would recommend to all. Only warning I would give is the slight rise in the driveway that may scrape the bottom of the car if it rides a little low. We parked out front with no issues. The owner is very nice and quickly responded to all my questions. Would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home is cozy and comfortable. It’s located in a great area with restaurants and parks nearby. Ita was wonderful - easy to communicate with and quick to respond when we had questions.

We came for a friends wedding. Our kids loved having their own rooms and space to play and run around. I loved being able to actual cook and not just eat take out. Everything was easily accessible and the house was so close to grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is gorgeous as you drive through. My family and I definitely enjoyed our stay.

This house was advertised as sleeping 8 while only sleeping 6. We had to take bedding from other beds to provide for couch sleeping for our 7th person. Too many decor items taking up counter space in small kitchen and bathrooms. Not enough towels. Mildew smell. Sewage backup in bathtub and we had to clean it up ourselves even though the owner was on site with the plumber. No dishwasher. Threats in checkout instructions that we would be charged additional money if dishes were not hand washed, decor and furniture not returned to their places. Dirty cooking pan, apparently not cleaned by previous tenant. We would not recommend this house or host.

I agree with the other reviewers - a dishwasher is all this place needs. The Host is excellent, and the house is wonderful. 2/3 beds would suit 2 people no problem. One bed is definitely a one person bed because it slopes outward on both sides. My main gripe is that guests are asked to wash, dry, and put away dishes at checkout, when loading and starting a dishwasher would be so much more practical. I would absolutely stay here again. Really excellent property.

We were overall very happy. We were here for a Berkeley graduation and it was very convenient. Lots to do in Walnut Creek and Concord and this was perfect for our needs.

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much! The furnishings were very nice, beds and linens lovely, plenty of dishes and great location. The downside was the host would not allow any guests to visit. We simply wanted to have a few family members in for pizza. I contacted the host, but she declined due to no parties or gathering posted restrictions. I’m always sensitive to following the host rules, but feel she could have accommodated this request. The heating of the home was a bit difficult; one half of the house heated nicely, but side where master bedroom was constantly cold. The heater/vent also made a loud clicking noise. And there was no dishwasher, but made do. Still it is a very nice property and we really enjoyed it!

I traveled with my wife, wife's sister and her husband. Overall, I'd give this place six stars out of five. Communication with the host is on point. We had some issues with the TV not working and messaged host. Robert was over in 20 minutes and had it running shortly. Nice large patio outback. We had a couple of the wife's family come over and had a cook out and sat around the outdoor fireplace........couldn't ask for anything better! The house is spacious and offered plenty of privacy for our two parties. Oh, and we've stayed in several VRBO's over the years but this kitchen was the most stocked of any place we've ever stayed. Unfortunately we weren't there long enough to take advantage of it but still nice to have. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 4 was very comfortable. Centrally located - there’s a cafe and a small diner walking distance for breakfast, plus a taqueria, BBQ, and a sit-down restaurant - Wences. We found a walking/jogging trail a block away, and all minutes from 680 or hwy24. Would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our 10-day stay at this property. The kids enjoyed playing in the private front yard. We loved the rear patio area with grill, fire pit and outdoor dining options. The interior has cool decor, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen worked for our needs. Be advised that there is no dishwasher (we knew this in advance) and there was some instability with the internet (only a concern if you are on Zoom most of the day). There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The host was easy to work with and fast to respond to any requests. Overall a great value for this area.
