About this house rental
The vacation home is located outside the village of Wietmarschen in a quiet, rural setting and is surrounded by forests and fields. The wooded location offers you peace, relaxation, and plenty of space in a high-quality setting. All the windows of the house offer a view of the greenery, giving you the feeling of living in a forest clearing. Relaxation guaranteed!
Thanks to good transportation connections, it’s accessible within ten minutes from the A31 highway.
The house’s open-concept kitchen is comfortably equipped and features a large gas stove, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a toaster, a coffee maker, a French press, and a very large refrigerator. The dining area seats 6 people. A spacious living area invites you to read and relax.
The 135-square-meter house underwent a complete renovation in 2014 and was fully refurbished in a country house style. In addition to the spacious living-dining area, it features four extremely comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom with an XXL bathtub, a spacious shower, and a separate toilet. There is also a guest restroom.
Two bedrooms have 140-cm-wide beds, one bedroom has a 180-cm-wide double bed, and one bedroom has an 80-cm-wide bed that can be extended to 160 cm if needed.
Parking spaces for up to 3 cars are available.
The living room features a 42" Smart TV.
High-speed Wi-Fi is also available thanks to a fiber-optic connection.
A washing machine is available for free use.
Bedding and towels can be booked for a flat fee.
Families with children are welcome: A stair gate is installed on the upper floor so you can relax even with younger children. A high chair is available in the dining area. The garden features a large treehouse with a view of the forest and a sandbox.
A large outdoor terrace and a spacious, fenced-in outdoor area round out the home’s amenities.
The vacation home is a smoke-free property.
The surrounding area is perfect for long walks, bike rides, and day trips.
The vacation home is located right next to two major bike paths, so you can set out on bike tours directly from the house at any time.
Many lakes (e.g., the reservoir in Geeste, 10 min; Lake Lohne, 10 min), charming hiking trails (Stift Wietmarschen, 5 min), and nature reserves (such as the Dalum-Wietmarscher Moor, 5 min) offer a wide range of opportunities for a relaxing vacation.
The Nordhorn Zoo is also a popular destination (10 min)

Ein sehr, sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus!

Das sehr gepflegte, großräumige Backsteinhaus liegt etwas abseits inmitten eines Wäldchens. Insbesondere im Sommer könnte ich mir vorstellen, es hier stets schön schattig zu haben. Aber auch im Herbst ist es wundervoll, auf der großen Terasse einen Tee zu genießen und den Kindern beim Spielen im Bootsbaumhaus zuzuschauen. Decken sind vorhanden, sowie alles andere, was man zum Wohlfühlen benötigt. Bis ins kleinste Detail stimmt hier wirklich alles: die Küche ist perfekt eingerichtet, sämtliche Räume sind ansprechend gestaltet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, um sich wirklich zu erholen. Kommt man hierher, sind alle sofort im „Ferienmodus“.
Sehr zu empfehlen.
Wietmarschen liegt sehr ruhig aber dennoch verkehrsgünstig zwischen Nordhorn, Lingen und Meppen. Es gibt mit dem Rad viel zu entdecken, aber auch mit dem Auto kann man wirklich jeden Ort schnell erreichen.
Für Kinder sehr zu empfehlen ist der Speichersee in Geeste, der Tierpark und das Schwimmbad in Nordhorn. Es gibt zudem auch einen Kletterpark uvm. Es wird nicht langweilig - selbst bei schlechtem Wetter fällt einem das Dach gewiss nicht auf den Kopf. Und nicht zuletzt freuen sich auch die Hühner stets über einen Besuch der Kinder mit einem Topf voller Nudeln.
Wir haben mit unseren beiden Kindern (4 und 5 Jahre alt) einen sehr, sehr schönen Urlaub verlebt und bedanken uns bei den sehr freundlichen Gastgebern für das liebevolle Willkommen mit der Überraschung im Kühlschrank und dem leckeren Obst aus dem eigenen Garten auf dem Tisch.

Wir danken für einen schönen und familienfreundlichen Aufenthalt. Ideal für den Urlaub mit Kindern. Ob bei gutem Wetter im Baumhaus oder vorhandene Bücher und Spiele im Haus. An alles ist gedacht! Sehr individuell und liebevoll gestaltetes Haus.
