Hotel Amel Rooms

Well the hotel was quite. and clean, altough there was no desk so that can use a laptop, the problem was that we phoned the hotel that one of our friends was not feeling well so we cannot reach the hotel, the owner a lady claimed that we had to pay the stay altought we expalained that was a health issue, we had to travel six hours by car so that can reach the hotel and had to leave the hotel at 3.00am. The owner prepared some sandwiches and let them in the fridge beacuase we skiped the breakfast, In my opinion the owner had to consider that was a health issue.

Quite and clean room altough no receptionist.

The decor and room were really lovely. We were very impressed with having access to a dining and kitchen area, with take-out menus available for local food delivery. Not sure Mediaș itself would have had much to choose from, so that was a good option. The breakfast, though extra, was very good value for money, and good quality.

The hotel was all very good. Mediaș itself was somewhat underwhelming.

There was nothing for us to complain about during our short visit and we would definitely come back if around. Do not get put off by the fact that the hotel is neighboured by a petrol station - it caused us no discomfort at all. We loved the big car park and the proximity to Sighișoara and Sibiu. The receptionist on duty was super-friendly and spoke decent English.

The property is located next to a rather busy road leading out of town. If you open the windows - the noise might give you a hard time. However, our room was air-conditioned and the balcony door was airtight, not letting any unwanted decibels in.
