two bedroom apartment in Kingston

Great property. The Kingston area in Brisbane is a little rough, but the property is magnificent. Secured by gates to enter the property (which has a great pool), then the car parking is also behind an additional secure gate. Room is spotless clean. Each bedroom had its own ensuite. The apartment smells clean - and is clean. The balcony is perfect for a morning cuppa. The host was delightful to communicate with and very thorough in outlining where everything is, including keys, where garbage goes, etc. i could not fault the property, although the area is a bit rough. All the residents were quiet when we stayed there, although we did not spend a lot of time in the apartment. Highly recommend staying here.

Property was well appointed and neat . Bedrooms were terribly hot . No fans and air con did not reach them . Days were ok but nights were not comfortable . Needs fans

We spent two nights at this property and had a fantastic time. It was relaxing, clean, quiet and close to restaurants, shops and Kingston park raceway. The kitchen was fantastic, the beds comfortable and the pool was a great place to escape the heat.

This unit could have been ideal given its location. On the appointed day we received an email advising us that the cleaners were leaving and it was ready for check-in. We followed instructions but on entry thought we were in the wrong unit. The beds were unmade, there were dishes on the draining board. Both bathrooms had been used. I contacted the manager who sent two people to clean it. I had a migraine and wanted to lie down in peace (we had traveled from Sydney). Instead, we had to stand around for an hour while the unit was cleaned. There are improvements which could be made to take it to the promise of 'luxury' also. Better quality sheets and towels, oil on the door hinges, and beds that do not creak and groan. The range hood did not appear to be working. There has been no follow-up from the manager.
