Very modern 2 bedroom apartment, one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on! Apartment was very clean, easy walking distance to Marvel Stadium, great views and was a very quiet location. Clear and easy to follow instructions provided regarding check in/out processes. Beautiful indoor pool available to use. With a booking genius discount and online special price at the time we booked this was very good value for money.

We were only told 24 hours before our stay that we had to pay a $300 refundable security deposit direct to a bank account - I believe this should have been clearly advised when booking but it was not stated in the booking terms. While we were happy to pay this it did take a week to get our refund. We also had to fill out a google document which asked for a photo of my passport or ID which I again found strange so I only provided an ID number as I did not want some stranger to have a copy of my ID.

The location was okay, but if you need to eat, you will need to catch a tram back to the city, especially on a weekend when the coffee shops are shut. The room is a private room in a big residential building, so the owner is off site and the staff at the front desk were very helpful as we had trouble checking in. It has a nice view of Melbourne. We didn't use the pool, it looked nice.

The check in process, I didn't realise that until I had booked and paid that I then needed to do a Google document login, and then upload my photo ID, and then deposit a security deposit, (something I have never experienced with BOOKING.COM interstate or overseas before) the deposit took over 4 weeks to return after I had chased it up (booked and paid under different names) the check in experience was poor, the owner was busy and hadn't sent the details of the key box, there is only one key, so if you are a family it's not ideal as you need the key to lock the door when you leave.
