A self contained granny flat that I won’t use again.

The property was located close to the town

A last minute change of plans meant that my girlfriend was able to join me on this trip. The owner has charged me more because my girlfriend also stayed. Given that the property is a self contained room off the main house having an extra person does not add any additional expense to the owner. Charging extra for a second person is unreasonable.

Home from home apartment

Everything you needed was provided, lovely owner. Position was superb for everything, walks, eating out and exploring the area

Idyllic location, friendly hosts & a huge super-kingsize bed - I didn't need for anything else!

Everything! The views are spectacular from the front of this property. Location is perfect for walks in the locality - we were exceptionally lucky with the weather (being warm & sunny) throughout our stay. We were self-catering which suited our needs. I have never slept in such a huge, incredibly comfortable Super-Kingsize bed - I want one of these! Our hosts were very friendly & provided great accommodation. We knew prior to our stay that it was sensible to hire a car from Inverness Airport for the duration of our trip - this enabled us to travel further out from Kingussie ......we even drove to Isle of Skye where we picnicked, on one of the days!

Didn't experience any issues/ problems with our accommodation. All good!

It may have been just one night but what a lovely stay.

Very well kept. Drop down table in kitchenette a nice touch. Great location with excellent views across to the Cairngorms and over Kingussie. Interesting walking opportunities next to the property.

Lovely Easter break ❤️

House was in great location and playground just below house which was fantastic. The house was very clean, comfy beds and all we needed was provided. The host family was really lovely provided lots of support for us before we arrived and also useful trips advices after we arrived . We would happy stay again in future.

Booking error ( not on host side) could be resolved faster but owner helped a lot despite it was not their fault. Maybe instruction for using induction hob to leave as we are not used to it but figured out how to start it.

Warm and comfortable in a lovely location

The apartment is located in a magnificent home in a delightful location. Everything we imagined a Cairngorms village to look like and we were lucky to be there in the snow. The apartment itself was warm and very clean, and the beds were comfortable.

We didn’t find the flat to be as as private as we would have liked, with only a frosted glass door between the apartment and the main house. On the small side, so probably would be better for just for two people.

lovely, warm, cosy and comfortable

The view was amazing. lovely friendly hosts - Jane was very helpful and friendly. She allowed us to check in early as we arrived on Christmas Eve and had presents, food and drink for Christmas Day. We had another booking cancelled at the last minute, and we were coming to kinguisse to spend Christmas with my brother &his family. we don’t know what we would of done without finding Ardvonie at the last minute, as my brother had my elderly parents staying as well. The accommodation had a new heating system installed which was warm cosy and heated up the room really quickly. We were really pleased with our stay. thanks Jane and family

only feedback is we would of benefited with a wardrobe to hang our clothes as myself and my aunty had dresses to hang as well as my partners shirts all for Christmas Day. There was a small hanger in the room, and drawers. otherwise we were warm comfortable and cosy.

A great location and very comfortable little apartment. The little kitchenette was great for cooking simple meals. Some salt and cooking oil would be a great addition for future guests.

The shower head was not very well fitted so a lot of water sprayed out before it reached you. It was quite cold in February, but the electric heater was very helpful to keep the warmth topped up.

Brilliant accommodation, fantastic walks nearby without having to drive anywhere.

This was exactly what we required. All we needed was a base as we intended to be out walking all day, the accommodation is very close to the woods where the majority of good walks start from, the little kitchen was adequate for preparing simple meals, there is a fridge for the beer and wine, bed was comfortable and spacious, it was quiet, no noisy traffic, I could go on more but suffice to say we have booked again for Christmas time.

It was a little difficult to dry wet clothes, but not too bad. There was nothing that we were disappointed with.

Great value, great location

The apartment was in an excellent location, good value for money. It was clean and recently decorated with a new kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the WiFi worked and Shaj was very helpful when I had a minor problem with the hob. I like self catering as I don't like to eat out every night when away from home.

Nothing major! I would have liked some baking trays in the kitchen, and a bit of cleaning equipment (dustpan and brush), and a clothes airer. Also the kitchen cupboards were very high, some steps to get up to them would have avoided me standing on them.

The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet and secluded with a nice garden, and we had a lovely stay. We had everything we needed.

Very expensive, but probably because of the UK staycation after Covid pandemic. Hope to return again.
