Chalet "Gentiane" VALMEINIER Location

Firstly, great communication with Guillaume who was very helpfulWe were 5 adults, would say the property is perfect for 2 families, with 4 kids. The property itself was lovely, well equipped and lots of space. Was a short walk, 50m, to the edge of the piste and from there a 20m ski to the Girodiere chairlift. You could also return to the same point in the afternoon to get back. There was also, very handily, at this point a lovely little slopeside bar, which did serve a bit of food, although prepare to be slightly underwhelmed. The Folie Douce it isnt. It was also very easy to get from either Valmeinier 1500/1800 back to the chalet by skis after a quick beerWe were not using ski-school, and it might be tricky to get non-skiers/beginners to the ESF meeting points.The road/track to the appartment is small and if bad conditions, winter tyres/chains would be highly recommended. Little bit of a walk/drive/bus to get to the villages for bread and provisionsThe ski area was excellent, big enough for a week, with lots of good long runs. Tremendously prettyOverall an excellent place, nicely equipped, comfortable for 8 people. Would definitely go again

Très beau logement spacieux , très bien conçus , les équipements pour bébé sont top .

Location neuve, bien équipée et de qualité. Propriétaire très sympathique et facilement disponible. Juste un petit problème de canalisation à régler pour un confort optimal. La station est familiale et le domaine skiable très bien, l’accès au front de neige pour les enfants est un peu fatiguant, la navette ne déposant pas aux pieds des pistes.
