Very nice location
There are many things which need to be fixed, the curtains where hanging off, one deckchair was broken, and the freezer part in the mini fridge’s door was broken, so every time we opened the fridge the freezer would open as well

The apartment is in St Paul's bay. There is a bus stop directly outside the apartment which can get you around Malta easily. The apartment is a good size and has all you need for a few days stay. There is a local convenience store next door to grab essentials and a restaurant, fruit and veg stall. There is also a place that sells coffees and rolls, here you will see a lot of bikers stopping by especially on the weekend.
There is a lovely view from the apartment and the staff were friendly.
The rooms are not sound proof so you can hear every sound and neither are the windows. So as you are on the main road you can hear the noise below.
The door to the apartment does not close firmly so every time the wind blows there is a gap that allows the light from the hallway to seep through and it also makes the door rattle.
I stayed in room 43 and the furniture needs replacing. The fake leather on both chairs has peeled off and there were holes in the main curtain. The bed also needs replacing as it looks like it has been reinforced with screws and painted over.
There were also stains on the walls near the bed so it could do with a coat of paint.

Hello,
The accommodation was both great and unfortunate at the same time. What I consider excellent is the online check-in / check-out, fast communication via WhatsApp / Booking, and the room amenities. A problematic and serious shortcoming, however, are the windows, which are only of basic quality and are not soundproof. I have stayed in the Xemxija area several times, and since I am planning a trip with my family this year, I wanted to try this accommodation solo first. Unfortunately, it did not convince me, as I cannot imagine putting a child to sleep with the noise of road traffic. And yet, so little would have been needed during construction. In my opinion, sooner or later the windows (or balcony glazing) will be replaced, and then it will be the best accommodation in Xemxija. But for now, it is not. If you are sensitive to noise from car traffic, bring earplugs and the problem is maybe solved 🙂 And give this opinion 10 points.

Non-soundproof windows; it must have been clear to the designer (owner) that this would be a problem.
The toilet bowl is glued to the wall (I have no idea for which designer this was considered an acceptable solution, and I am curious whether they have it like that at their home as well 🙂).
When booking, I requested a higher floor due to sensitivity to noise, but I was given the first floor (of course, my apartment type may not have been available, or it may have been an issue that I was staying only for two days, but I was not informed that unfortunately I would be on the first floor).
