This vacation rental is equipped with a kitchen without a dishwasher.
The parking area is ten yards from the cottage, and you will have to carry your belongings to the home on an unpaved pathway. There is a motion light in the parking area that lights the path.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) My husband and I have stayed at this little cabin several times now over the past two years. It is conveniently located if you are wanting to stay near Norwich University which is in Northfield. There's also a little store at the end of the road where you can get some basic food items. The cabin is perfect for two people. The "bedroom" opens up into the living room and kitchen. The only recommendations we would give them after staying there a few times would be to maybe replace the one couch. It's not that comfy at all... especially if you plan on sitting on it for a while. And while the cabin is clean, each time we've stayed there, we have had to wipe away multiple spider webs throughout the cabin. (Maybe the webs just grow more quickly in the mountains?) So I'd encourage their cleaner to do a quick wipe down of the webs. Other than that, we truly enjoy this little getaway cabin. There is also a cute front porch where you can sit out and do work. We recommend staying here and will definitely be back again.

We stay up in this area at least twice a year and are always looking for a place to stay. This was the first time that we stayed here and it was perfect! Close to Northfield, it was convenient to where we needed to be. It was in the woods and a perfect get a way. This little cabin had high ceilings with wood walls and ceilings. Super cute and one of a kind. You walked into a couch with tv which opened up into the kitchen with a little work desk and then off to the side was the bedroom and bathroom. One day we sat outside on the front porch all day long. There was a little table and chairs and you looked right out at the flowers and the trees. You can walk up the hill on their property and see a beautiful view. It was truly a perfect location for us to stay for five nights. We will definitely book here again. 5 stars!

We appreciated the beautiful setting, comfortable bed, and privacy. It is a cozy cabin perfect for two on a scenic road with three covered bridges. We highly recommend this sweet vacation spot.

The cabin is located in a peaceful surrounding, with nice views of trees outside. The fireplace makes it warm and romantic. It has all the amenities you would need for your stay, nice expandable sofa, great bed, pillows and sheets. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The whole place is planned smartly to accommodate a comfortable stay experience with some thoughtful touches to delight you. Checkin/Checkout was also super easy. Our only advice to guests would be to get there before sunset on the first day to figure out where you have to go. It might be difficult at night to find this spot for some.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
