The family here are exceptional people, clever, interesting, thoughtful and they will do everything to look after you during your stay. And they are great cooks- the food is really fantastic. Would so heartily recommend staying here if you get the chance.

The room is very warm and cozy, it really feels like you’re staying at someone’s house. The bathroom is good and the shower had hot water. But what makes this place really special is the host family - they were all SO nice and kind and made me feel very, very welcome, even as a solo traveller! I had a wonderful time in Darjeeling thanks to the kindness of the whole family, and ended up extending my stay despite the moody weather. The homemade food was delicious (I’ll forever dream about it) and I loved learning more about Darjeeling from all of them. Incredible experience and would highly, highly recommend it!
Nothing, I loved everything! But do make sure you pay attention to the location - it’s a short walk from town.
