A PERFECT central location to explore the wine country, bike and hike the trails of Lake Chautauqua, and enjoy the local cuisine and friendly locals. The place was immaculately clean, comfortably appointed, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The decorator has a very tasteful eye, and the cozy apartment utilizes space wisely. This place is so nice that it deserves a 5 Star Review even though the sofa could be upgraded (less supportive than an absentee father) and I’m not sure if the primary contact was poking fun at my use of “y’all” in our few communications. I guess my informal addressing of all that were involved in our weekend respite may have stereotyped us ? It is also possible I’m being overly sensitive. They were great!

The Good Things: (1) Location. Westfield is a pretty town and a 25 minute drive to Chautauqua. Some good restaurants on Main St. and a large town green with a farmers market, local crafts and live music Saturday mornings. (2) Apartment is large and clean (3) good communication by owner and assistance from local personnel.
Not Good: (1) the apartment is the smaller of two units which share a common, thin wall so conversation and activity by those in the larger unit is like everyone in both units being in the same room. Happened to us around 1:00am when people in the larger apartment were arriving for their stay. Fortunately for us we left the next day (2) The wifi equipment is inadequate to the size of the apartment. Our devices were constantly losing connection. (3) The couch in front of the tv is really uncomfortable. (4) The shower has two sliding doors and a gasket under one of the doors can get lose causing water to leak out onto the floor.
This place didn't work for us and we wouldn't return.
