About this house rental
Get the best of both worlds! Enjoy a 3/3 new home situated on a beautiful hill overlooking the hill country, but still be close enough to Main Street to easily enjoy the numerous shops, galleries, and bars/restaurants. After the hustle and bustle of Main Street, relax on your quiet front porch and watch an incredible sunset view over the hill country. Or step into the oak grove located south of the house and sit in a hammock chair with a favorite cocktail. Hammocks and hangers in pantry.
The first floor of the guesthouse has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and each includes en suite bathrooms. The top floor is accessed by an outside entry, and is a large room with a king bed and en suite bathroom. This house is perfect for a couples getaway.
The house is equipped with a full kitchen with all new appliances. The washing machine and dryer are full sized units.
Activities: Pickleball court, 4 paddles and balls are available during daylight hours. Popular indoor games provided. Deer, jackrabbits, foxes, roadrunners, birds abound in area. Explore the hill or go for a 2 mile walk into town.
New Weber propane grill at house for a lovely “night in”. Also, a small charcoal grill is available.

This hilltop home was the perfect setting for three couples to relax and enjoy the weekend! Each of us had a cozy personal area but the shared kitchen and front porch with its amazing views were our favorite! The house was superbly stocked and very clean as well. We would definitely stay here again when we’re back in town!

Excellent location! Photos do not do this place justice. We loved the views. House had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend with friends. We would definitely book this place again! Host was very attentive to any questions we had and communicated throughout the entire booking/checking in process, as well.

This house was perfect for our family getaway. It had everything we needed and then some. The owner stocked it with snacks, coffee, and filtered water. The house is extremely clean, updated, and perfectly located. Sitting outside at night, and looking over the town was breathtaking and a great way to end the day. We will definitely be back!

The house was located like 6 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg, couldn’t be more convenient! We even had time to play pickle ball on the last day of our stay. I will definitely stay again in the future!!
