#041 Luxury House Stylish & Comfortable

Excellent location for beach and 'old town'. Spacious, clean and modern accommodation. Loved the piano in the dining room area! Fantastic view from the balcony/terrace area.

Cleanliness (or lack of) on balcony/terrace area was a real disappointment as the villa itself was immaculate. I understand seasalt can build up on glass BUT, coupled with bird poo and patio furniture (which as seen better days) really let things down.

Rook niet fris ( rioollucht onder in accommodatie) en bij aankomst meteen gemeld dat er wat spullen stuk waren. Dit meteen gemeld zodat. Ze wisten dat dit het geval was voor we erin kwamen om problemen achteraf te voorkomen. Ze wilde meteen iemand lang sturen maar gezegd dat dat niet hoeft. Geur in accommodatie goed op te lossen. The property is stunning. The location is unbeatable. Stunning sea views. Steps to the old town, but totally peaceful. I don't think I've ever been to a better rental property. If I had a question it was answered very quickly.

The only criticism - and it's nothing against the property - is there are many levels and the stairs could have been easier to manage for the 3 year old if there was a hand rail on the stairs. Let's be honest, I'm 64 - I could have used a handrail too!

The location

Two of the four bedrooms couldn’t be used. One due to ant infestation. And the other was located outdoors, with access via the courtyard. The room wasn’t usable due to a terrible sewage smell and poor ventilation. We had to move a mattress to the living room and our kids had to sleep on the floor and couch. The balcony was dirty with bird dropping. It wasn’t usable until we cleaned it ourselves (mopped, wiped down, etc) There were ants in the bathroom and on one of the bedrooms. One of the washrooms smelled very foul and like sewage. The water from the shower leaked out due to poor construction/design. The water almost made it to the bedroom and on our suitcases/clothes. No paper towels or napkins were provided. Only one tea towel and one dishwasher pod to use over the course of a three night stay for 8 people. The staff came to address all these issues but this should’ve been dealt with beforehand. Especially since it’s a very pricy stay.
