DGG Woodland Escape

Loved it so much had a second visit

Everything, it was exactly what we were hoping for and more, beautiful location and stunning accommodation

Nothing

Freedom for my dog Friendly helpful staff Woodland setting enclosed Close to towns and locations but feels like wilderness

Work to be done to bring back upto glamping standards but this has only just started A bedside table and a chair would be appreciated next time.

Staff lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Tent very clean, no mean feat when stepping in from muddy woodland! Pizza oven was a terrific unexpected bonus. Shower/toilet pods a brilliant idea, may need another one when busy though. The off-grid concept. The quiet time overnight and early morning.

Completly off-grid meant no lights in the shower/toilet pods after dark! The tent we stayed in was not as equiped as we expected from the photos. The staff did put in one bedside table for us and kindly lent us 2 outdoor chairs. Enjoyment of the stay is dependent on other people staying. One party walsed off with most of the cooking facilities, fortunately we'd bought a pizza to eat so were OK, but by the next morning someone had also taken the pizza board away too! Other people also washed up in the only wash up facility and left the stuff there to drain, making it difficult for others. So maybe a few rules and expectations laid out for people staying. We were also woken at 5.30 am by children playing outside one morning.
