Beautiful historic building, and a lovely and comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Great hiking trails from the Alte Zollhaus in all directions into the National Park Bayerischer Wald. Nice local restaurants and convenient shopping.We can't say enough about our host and hostess, lovely people who made our stay seem like visiting with old friends. Vielen Dank!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay in Alten Zollhaus. The location is fantastic; we did several lovely walks from the house itself, including the beautiful circular walk up the Falkenstein. The Rachel and Arber are within a short drive distance. The lovely garden is big enough to share with the other tennants, sufficient seating and even BBQ facilities are provided.
We stayed in small apartment Falkenstein. Value for money was excellent. The apartment is indeed small, but has everything you need, is very light and easy to ventilate with windows on two sides. The bathroom is a bit older and needs ventilation from the kitchen window (around the corner of the sliding door) to dry properly. Although cosily decorated, and furnished with a huge double bed, for us the apartment was a little full.

Der Ort ist wunderbar gelegen. Hinter dem Haus geht direkt eine Loipe lang. Man kann ebenso gut von dort aus überall hinwandern, einfach herrlich für Naturliebhaber. Unsere Fereienwohnung war einfach ausgestattet, ich glaube die größeren Wohnungen sind deutlich schöner....Alles in allem ist das Haus aber alleins chon wegen der Lage unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!
