Excellent stay and would definitely return, felt like home.

The layout was perfect and it was nicely decorated and was very clean. Everything you needed was provided. It is in a perfect location. We received a very generous welcome pack which was a lovely touch. Very comfortable beds too!

Nothing we didn’t like but extra tea towels and hand towels in the bathroom would have been great and extra bin liners.

Excellent family cottage

This was like a home away from home. There was an exceptional welcome package. Getting Wifi was easy. The beds were comfortable and it was very central to Speyside walks and distilleries. This place did not allow pets and I appreciated not having pets allowed an extra level of cleanliness. There was plenty of space for family and parking was easy behind the cottage.

A Lovely Place to Stay

Really lovely accommodation - hosts kept in touch throughout which made us feel at home!

Some issues trying to work the TV - might be helpful to have some instructions, but we got there in the end!

Perfect for families or small groups in Speyside!

Really homely, so comfortable and comes with everything you could need for a great stay in Speyside. The location is perfect and the hosts were so friendly and helpful, cannot recommend highly enough!

relaxing and perfect location to tour the countryside as well as the many nearby distilleries. I would recommend the Tom

perfectly situated for visiting local distilleries, very clean and kitchen had everything required including a welcome pack of food.

We loved our stay at Isla’s cottage and would recommend it.

Breakfast was a nice touch and the location was brilliant.

Everything was perfect except for the kitchen utensils. Only just 6 of everything for 6 guests meant there was no extra plate for serving food or cheese, no serving platters at all and frequent washing of cups. The Large colander would have been great for making pasta but no pot big enough to cook pasta for 6. So the only improvements I can think of would be a couple of additional items in the kitchen. Otherwise this was an excellent place to stay.

Lovely, homely, clean cottage

Perfect home from home, just a short walk from Glenfiddich distillery. Every room was spotless, and the basket of goodies on arrival was a nice touch!

Only fault I could find was no full length mirror! Very minor issue but would have been helpful getting ready for a wedding ;)

2 nights of perfection, we would have stayed longer

It was obvious on entry that the place was very clean, well managed. We were greeted with a welcome basket of goodies and Forbes and Samantha kept in contact with us and were lovely. We can’t thank them enough. It was the best ! If we come back to Scotland. We’ll stay there without question. It was perfectly situated for all our needs, private parking and everything was very modern and beautiful.

We didn’t get to meet Sam and Forbes to thank them in person :p (we’re kidding, we have no complaints)

Nicely restored self catering coittage.

well-equipped and generously supplied self catering cottage located in the interesting centre of Dufftown. Small wood-fired stove is a nice touch.

Heating was uneven on a cold day. The toilet is downstairs from main bedroom

Brilliant time.

This is a lovely spotlessly clean cottage facing the main street in Dufftown. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and will certainly use the cottage again should we decide to return to the area.

A bath would have made the cottage ideal,toddler Fionn did not enjoy the shower.

We all enjoyed our stay in Dufftown and would return to Isla’s cottage if in the area again.

Cottage is easy to access and was great to have the parking round the back. Also appreciated that we were able to make use of their travel cot and highchair. Lovely clean cottage with everything that we needed whilst staying in Dufftown.

Superb

Great location as walking distance to local shop and walks. Welcome book had loads of information about the place and other amenties and attractions. Car park to the rear was perfect. The cottage is spacious very clean and provided you with the basic everday needs. Lovely welcome pack.

Maybe some homely historical items in the cottage, just to give a feel of the beautiful town.

Super für Whiskytouren

Tolles Cottages in Dufftown. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Super eingerichtet und gemütlich. Perfekt als "Basislager" für Whisky Touren in der Speyside. Glenfiddich und The Balvenie sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Und am Abend dann ein Dram vor dem Kamin. Jederzeit wieder.
