Villa L'ESTRADE

Das Grundstück ist außergewöhnlich, sehr groß, ganz viel Grün mit großen Olivenbäumen, Wiese und vielen Plätzen zum Verweilen im Schatten. Die hohen Hecken drumherum bieten einen ungestörten Sichtschutz. Die Terrasse mit dem großen Tisch, vielen gemütlichen Lounge-Möbeln und davor der wunderbare große Pool sind traumhaft. Das Haus ist außergewöhnlich, vermutlich ein hunderte Jahre altes Landhaus, mit Steinboden, sehr gepflegten antiken Möbeln; die großen Fenster und Türen zum Öffnen, gewähren einen schönen Blick auf das Grundstück und die vielen Blüten. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist prima. Es gibt eine Nasszelle mit Waschbecken und Dusche und ein separates WC sowie draußen in der Außenküche eine Außendusche, die wir viel genutzt haben. Der Empfang und die Betreuung durch den Verwalter waren sehr herzlich und wir konnten jederzeit anrufen, wenn es Fragen gab.

Bei acht Personen ist ein einziges WC eine kleine Herausforderung.

Location was easy to find with Sat Nav - we are experienced travellers in France - new to the area visitors may prefer more explicit directions and keys for property retrieval information

The property was as expected from the property description, lovely garden area and eventually after a lot of attention from our helpful host the pool water changed from murky to clear. The house has the basic facilities as described - certainly a relaxed back to very basic amenities which suited us, certainly had plenty of crockery, kitchen pots, pans and extras, a whole days supply before needing the dishwasher! The property would benefit from a more detailed guest information folder on the local amenities, details of local supermarkets opening times, markets/days and things to do in the area to improve the holiday experience. The first floor bedrooms were extremely hot/stuffy to sleep in - not sure how this could be improved - we resorted to moving part of the family downstairs to the sofa bed as this was a cooler area of the house along with the ground floor bedroom. Overall we had an enjoyable and memorable holiday - loved the garden and frog pound, the garden space was lovely
