Staff was very kind and patient. The place itself is in a glorious location, with the absolute best views in town. There are three(!) balconies, each with a fantastic view. The spacious main balcony faces North-West, so remains shady all day and has an exceptional view of the sunset over the sea. The bedroom (on the third floor) is next to that and another balcony facing South-West. Glorious place to sleep with the open doors listening to the waves splashing! (The bedroom itself, though, is surprisingly Spartan, with a somewhat primitive bedframe (but OK mattress) and only a high wall board with a clip-on lamp instead of side tables. On the second floor, having a washing machine was fantastic (like, to wash those four towels we were given almost every day!). The kitchen had all the essential, big fridge, tiny coffee maker, but sure could improve a lot with a microwave! For kitchen and bathroom (with copious shower!) we did have to run out buying a number of essentials, like dishwashing soap, laundary detergent, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, etc. Even without AC in July, there always was enough of a breeze to keep us comfortable (and dry our laundary overnight).
The staff was very accommodating but communications in English was difficult, and it took some calling and waiting to get in when we arrived Sunday evening at 9p. (We arrived later than originally planned, but gave notice earlier that day, and the instructions allowed for check-in till midnight.) There was also an additional charge (20euro) for bedsheets and towels.
