Curlew 8 is a luxurious second-row private home featuring ocean views and chic, coastal décor. This upscale private home in North Forest Beach is spacious and attractive - it was recently renovated (March 2024) and everything has been brought up to date! Discover all new furniture, new bedding, all new paint, and pool furniture.
The home boasts two large living areas, one with beautiful decorative tile through the main level and the other with beautiful hardwood floors. A private pool and kiddie pool, an in-home elevator, TVs in every bedroom, and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean make this home spectacular!
Head upstairs, and you'll find the spacious, second-level living area with ample seating, a decorative fireplace, a large HDTV, and a kitchenette with a wet bar, fridge, and wine cooler. It also has access to an upper-level ocean-view balcony with a gas grill.
On the main level, the bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms, one with a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. One of the upstairs bedrooms provides a lovely ocean view, and two have en suite bathrooms. One connects to the adjacent den, which has an upstairs laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer.
THINGS TO KNOW
The pool can be heated between Labor Day and Memorial Day for an additional fee. If the outside temperature is colder than 55 degrees, the pool may not maintain a warmer temperature. Refunds will not be given if the pool does not reach your desired temperature but is still warming.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.
5 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 152 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The property and location are terrific, but some of the rooms were too hot to sleep in. Two new AC systems were installed during our stay (out of 4 total) which solved the heat problem upstairs but not the bedrooms downstairs. In addition, a water drain in the kitchen failed and a plumber was called to repair it. The new owner did a great job redecorating the home and replaced the hot tub which we would have used if temps were not so high. Don’t know if we will use this property in the future. Jim Burns
