About this cottage rental
Perfect year-round vacation spot! Our cottage is located in the charming village of Walloon Lake. It provides plenty of sleeping space with four bedrooms to sleep 13 guests and 3 full baths. We tried to keep as much original character as we could while giving the space a fresh remodel in the spring of 2021. A short two-minute walk gets you downtown to shopping, local restaurants and the public beach and park. A less than 10 minute drive will get you to downtown Petoskey or Boyne City.

This was the perfect escape from our busy lives. My adult daughter and granddaughter was able to come along with my mom and our other kiddos so the extra bathrooms was so nice and the flow of the home. It was easy walking distance to town. Just minutes away. The town is so cute and we would definitely go back.

We had a great time in Waloon Lake! The house was perfect for our 2 families to share. Quick walk to ice cream, general store, playground and the lake. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking dinner. Only negatives are that It’s an older house and creaks a lot when people are walking around upstairs, and the AC didn’t cool as well as we thought it should, but there were lots of fans available to keep the air moving.
