About this house rental

Quarry Vista Lodge is located at 306 Lower Cliff Drive on Kelleys Island, Ohio on the western end of the Lake Erie between Ohio and Canada. The home offers three bedrooms and two baths, a hot tub, enclosed screened porch, gourmet kitchen, and all amenities. Outside, the home is surrounded by mature fruit trees, including:: apple, cherry, pear, mulberry, blackberry and grapes. The backyard of the home sits along a quarry.
Inside you will find the home comfortable and inviting.
Inside you will find the home comfortable and inviting. Décor is island with a lodge feel in parts of the home. There are large rooms and a comfortable leather love seat and chair in the living room for relaxing after a long day exploring the island. Start each morning at the gourmet coffee or tea at our coffee station then make your way to the yard, where you can stretch out on an oversized hammock. On the large screened in porch, you will find a pellet stove for smoking or grilling, two
55" 4k television and lots of seating for guests.
Quarry Vista Lodge is located on the western part of the island with a convenient location to the many attractions on the island such as the Glacial Groves, Kelley's Island State Park , a public boat launch and the very popular north bay beach. Ferry service is available to Cedar Point amusement park, Put In Bay, as well as other neighboring islands.
Large yard with plenty of picnic tables that can be moved to sun or shade. Beautiful fruit trees and a hammock for relaxing. Hot Tub unwinding after a long day of exploring the island.

Friendly, island community with a family friendly feel. Plenty of restaurants and bars that have scenic lake views or signature items they are known for. lots of natural areas to hike or mountain bike and beautiful beaches. Must see item is the glacier grooves.
Golf cart is the standard on Kelleys Island and our rental includes a 2024 Evolution Electric 6 person cart. Cars and bicycles are also common on the island.

Everything was amazing! 5 stars on all but location. Only because of the road to get there. In our vehicle it was fine but, in the golf cart, hold on it's very bumpy. The golf cart was great to have!!! The only negative was gun shots in the quarry. David said hunting is allowed in October and November. Totally not his fault. We had a great time! Thanks for the amazing coffee bar. It was a coffee lover's dream. We would absolutely stay again!!!

Beautiful home, some blinds need repair or replace, pellet grill instructions should have been provided, not all the jets in the hot tub seemed to be working, no central AC just a wall unit in the living kitchen dining area then some rigged up cooling machine in one of the bedrooms. Only ceiling fans in the other two bedrooms. Golf cart was great and there are some questionable/abandoned properties before you get to the home which sits back a gravel pot hole filled road. I expected a little better for what we paid.

Perfect family getaway!We so enjoyed staying at Quarry Vista for the 2nd time. Quiet and private road with very few, but friendly neighbors. Very gracious host who was easy to reach and friendly. This is absolutely the BEST place we have EVER stayed at! This property was so clean and peaceful. We enjoyed the screened in porch, golf cart, pellet grill, hammock, hot tub and coffee bar. It had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. We weren't there 24 hours, and booked our trip for next year! I won't stay anywhere else, and can't wait to go back! Such a wonderful experience.

Our recent stay at this charming house was everything we needed and wanted. The house exuded a cozy and inviting vibe. They thought of everything, the house was very well stocked and so clean!! The coffee bar was our favorite, right behind the golf cart and hot tub!! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality from the owners. With10 people check-in was seamless, and the extra communication made for easy settling in and was much appreciated. We made so many great memories Kelley’s Island is our favorite place.

Beautiful house and grounds. Very well appointed. We brought our food and beverages, clothes and beach towels. Everything else was provided! There is even a cabinet with spices and some basic items. We had our adult children with significant others, so the 6 person golf cart was the icing on the cake. Our host, David, was very accomodating and made the whole process seamless. Our daughter left a bag with her wallet and a prescription in it. David contacted us immediately and sent it to her. We will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed our stay very much! From the moment I made the booking until we were on the ferry heading off island, David was very attentive, offering advice for our stay, answering questions, and checking in to make sure everything was going well with our stay. Since we ate all our meals in the house during our stay, we were especially happy that the kitchen was well appointed with appliances, all the cooking tools we needed and more, and even some basic staples in the pantry that covered for a couple items I forgot to bring! The pellet-fed grill was a major highlight, earning some rave reviews for the steaks and corn on the cob that came off it. The ample entertainment options (TVs in the living room and all the bedrooms) provided a nice way for everyone to wind down in the evening and to let each of us do our own thing for a bit before turning in. The master bedroom and bathroom were also especially nice, with great light, comfy bedding, and wonderful shower. Definitely recommended for the property itself and the great host.

What a little jewel tucked away on the Island. Everything catered for including toiletries. We cooked steak on the grill outside, relaxed in the hot tub, watched a sunset at the harbor and ate some wonderful food. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved this property and our stay! After the first night, our group agreed that this easily rose to the top of our list for KI rentals! The house has a fully stocked kitchen, grill/smoker, TVs, sound system, hot tub, linens, golf cart... you literally need to bring your clothes, food, and drinks - everything else is there! It was also super clean, organized, and well-maintained! David communicated with us, offered to answer any questions, and was easy to work with! We will be back!!

I had been looking forward to this getaway for months and it did not disappoint! Lots and lots of great amenities, very comfortable and laid out well, kitchen was incredibly well stocked and everything was clean and easy to find. It took a couple of days to figure out how everything worked (( David likes the fancy gadgets, lol!) but once we had that down it was an amazing stay. I highly recommend this location. I am ready to book next years visit already!!

We have stayed multiple different places on Kelleys Island so can say that this location was fantastic and at the top of the pack! Perfect place for a family (we had 2 adults and a baby); close enough to the action but also a bit away for some quiet and space. Beautiful outdoor area with hot tub, hammock, fire pit and other nice things. Indoor is nicely updated. Host is very attentive and responsive. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This place is clean & well stocked is an understatement. We loved the coffee bar & the kitchen. Plenty of toiletries, a welcome basket & even some canned food. You'll have sugar, coffee, lots of towels.. it was great. The week we stayed was cold & rainy but we used the hot tub & managed to see the glaciers which were amazing. Plenty of sleeping room & seating, tho the living room wasn't big enough for lounging (only a couch for 2 & a chair for 1), we just had people sit at the bar & table too & everyone could still talk. David was great, didn't need him much but when I did, very responsive & ready to help.

As we were leaving, my husband said, "I'd come back here in a heartbeat." David's property is the definition of hospitality. Cleanliness and comfort is always at the top of everyone's list and that's all there and more. The place even smelled welcoming, I'm not kidding! It's also the tops in entertainment systems, and so many thoughtful amenities to make it a true "getaway" where you have everything at hand to enjoy the people you're with and forget the working world for awhile. I really appreciated the high-end furnishings as most homeowners would. Bottom line - everything is beautifully in place for you to enjoy the company of your friends/family and take full advantage of the island lifestyle. We just loved it.

The house location is not on the beach, which might get it overlooked by some, be it includes a golf cart that can get you anywhere in minutes! The owner must be an ametuer photographer, because there were some really great local photos that populated the screen of the TV in the master bedroom. Cell service can be sketchy, but this was also not a problem because of the Starlink wifi that we easily connected to. I enjoyed the hot tub, and was impressed by the great communication with the owner.

Loved how this property was off of the main roads and offered a sense of privacy! The owners were very gracious and had a snack basket ready for us upon arrival. The screened porch was perfect for evening relaxing and fun. Golf cart was a perfect addition for our stay. Kids enjoyed the beaches, bike rides, and town.

Our family loved our summer get away to Kelley’s Island and this home was exactly what we were looking for. The home itself was clean and cozy. We loved how peaceful the neighborhood was. We stayed busy during the days exploring nature trails, beaches, mini golf as well as excursions to Cedar Point and Put-in-bay which are just a quick jet boat away. The 6 person golf cart was fantastic and we had fun going for drives around the island. We also enjoyed the outdoor speakers for listening to music while we relaxed on the screened in porch and hot tub. David was quick to answer all of our questions. We hope to return to Kelleys Island in summers to come and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had so much fun in this family friendly house. We have four children and they all brought friends. The house was perfect for a few teenagers and kids 10-17. The bunk beds were comfortable and gave the kids plenty of room to hang out. We did bring an air mattress so they could spread out in the family room. The couches were recliners and sometimes they slept on those as well. They loved hanging out in the hot tub after long days at the beach. They played wiffle ball and flashlight tag in the yard and we ate breakfast in the screened in porch. The golf cart was an excellent addition to the booking! The owner was accommodating, friendly, and easy to contact. The house had all the amenities you need to feel at home, including linens. We will definitely be back!

The house was perfect. Everything was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfy with high quality sheets. We really enjoyed the large screened in porch. The cherry and mulberry trees had perfectly ripe fruit which was a delight munching on while swinging in the hammock. The golf cart was such an added bonus and made for great time exploring the island. David was super responsive and went above and beyond as a host!

We found everything that we needed for Fun and yet Relaxing Stay on this Beautiful Property! I felt pampered using the hot tub, hammock and coffee bar while enjoying gorgeous green shady scenery! Well Equipped kitchen and the use of a golf cart was an added benefits. The owner was very accessible and did a great job to see that we were comfortable. We will definitely be back again!

Enjoyed this house so much! Perfect "off the beaten path" location which was quiet and felt secluded although there were houses right nearby. Perfect for stargazing from the hot tub and having s'mores at the fire pit. Amazing grill and well-stocked kitchen for making meals at home and close to downtown for a lunch or dinner out. Beautiful hikes and views all around the island so conveniently located from the house. Check in couldn't have been easier and owner was always quick to respond to any questions along the eay. We will be back!
