About this house rental
Get away from it all but still stay close to everything at Camp South Shore. Lounge in hammocks in the pine tree forest. Drink coffee on the back deck while looking for birds. Play foosball or board games in the game room. Grill out in the backyard while playing corn hole. Float in the stock tank pool. Walk a mile to the lake for kayaking, fishing, miniature golf, and miles of hiking. Great for families, family friends, or couples. Only 3 minutes from downtown Bastrop and 45 minutes from Austin.
The home sits on nearly an acre of pine forest in the Lost Pines Conservation Area. Everything is at your fingertips: Adirondack chairs around a fire pit for S'mores, games and activities for the kids or the young at heart, two bedrooms with luxurious king-sized beds with memory foam toppers, a game room with two sets of bunk beds (4 beds total in that room). There are three TVs: one 65" TV and two 55" TVs. All linens and towels are washed and sanitized prior to your arrival.
The kitchen is highly functional and organized with a large area for prepping food or gathering on barstools. You'll have access to two different types of coffee makers, a microwave, wine glasses, blender, grill, baking supplies, Tupperware, etc.
The dining room table expands to seat up to 8 people. The sectional couch is great for larger groups.
The back deck has two lounge chairs and a grill. The pine forest backyard features a stock tank pool (10' wide x 2' deep).
The property is less than 1 mile away from Lake Bastrop down a tree-lined road, a 5-minute drive from Bastrop State Park (with a community swimming pool during the summer), 3 miles from the Bastrop historic downtown with quaint shops and several restaurants, 30 minutes away from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Circuit of the Americas, and a quick 45 minutes away from everything Austin has to offer.
And check-in can start as early as 3pm! Dogs are welcome for an extra $25 fee (for each dog). Please reach out to owner for approval.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms comfortable and the location was perfect to enjoy the outdoors and still easily access town. My family really enjoyed the Foosball table and the board games. Thanks for a great weekend!

This is our second stay and we had another beautiful time. Sara was very helpful and responsive when we ran into a snag with the keyless entry. The house is very inviting and we loved the occasional deer visitors in the backyard at dusk. It is quiet and a great location to relax and rejuvenate after a day at COTA.
