Fantastic sea view and a very cozy apartment. The kitchen is well equipped, and all the bedrooms have modern air conditioning. Having two terraces is a big plus — you can always find some shade, no matter the time of day. There’s also private access to the beach, which is incredibly convenient. A few nice tavernas and two large grocery stores are within a 5-minute walk.

The double beds could be a little wider, and having a microwave would be a nice addition. Also, if you’re visiting in July or August, be prepared for strong winds and bigger waves — something worth keeping in mind if you’re planning to spend a lot of time at the beach.

A wonderful beachfront stay in a peaceful location, with the beach literally just a few steps away. The beautiful sea views and fine sandy beach make you want to come back again. It is a perfect place for a holiday with family or friends. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped, and the large terraces offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host is also very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help, making the stay even more pleasant and comfortable. Private sun loungers are also available, which is a great bonus. The location is amazing, and the sea view - just breathtaking. The house is spacious, clean and reasonably well-furnished. We were taken by extremely hospitable and generous hosts, who greeted us with amazing local pastries (enough for two breakfasts!) and a bottle of wine. The proximity of the semi-private beach and amazing tavern only improved our experience. Overall, we had a great time!

In sake of fairness, we need to point out a few things that didn't meet our expectations. It is important to point out they are hardly deal-breakers and there is nothing that would spoil your vacation! Don't get discouraged - just prepare in advance and manage your expectations. Two bathrooms in fact means one full bathroom and one toilet (with toilet seat and sink) - there is only one shower, which might be an issue with a party of six. Most of the equipment is quite dated: some beds squeek with every move, the stove can be quite capricious with the heat, etc. Finally, the house sits directly on the approach path of Heraklion airport, and there is a plane flying over your head about every 20 minutes. Luckily the noise is muffled by the sea, and very easy to get accustomed to. Yet again, all those minor discomforts pale when compared to the amazing location and generosity of the hosts!
