Town House Beach Escape; minutes to Beach

This was exactly what we needed. Quiet residential neighborhood. Well appointed kitchen and bath. Great space -- plenty of room to eat, set up for remote work, or just hang out. Easy walk to the beach -- path outside the neighborhood makes it safe, and takes about 35-40 minutes from driveway to sand. Love the patio area with twinkle lights at night. Host was super responsive and even shared terrific restaurant recommendations. Can't wait to go back!

Jennifer has a lovely apartment. I stayed for about four months just recently and I felt totally at home. The apartment is clean and spacious with high ceilings. The wifi was great, the laundry machines worked well, and all other amenities were good / came as advertised. The neighborhood is family-oriented and quiet, which was fine as I was traveling for work. I had somewhat few interactions with the neighbors due to my work schedule, but when I did see them in passing they were friendly and easy going. It seemed like some folks would get together occasionally when the weather was nicer for cook-outs or drinks. I imagine in the summer this would be a great, family-friendly atmosphere. I didn't get to use the patio because I stayed here in the winter, but Jennifer has a great setup for the summertime. The apartment is quite close to a number of great restaurants and bars. It's a little bit removed from the beach front (a little over 1 mile to the boardwalk), but there's a sidewalk that goes all the way there if you want to go for a walk or run. Driving only takes five minutes or so. Lastly, Jennifer is a fantastic hostess. She was highly responsive in our communications over Vrbo and text. She cares about making sure her renters are taken care of and comfortable. At the last minute I ended up having to stay an extra night due to inclement weather and she was completely understanding about the situation. It was a huge relief! Overall, I'm lucky I found this spot and I'll certainly be looking to book it again if I'm ever back in Virginia Beach. Thanks Jennifer!

I lived in the house for 38 days until my permanent residence became available. Price is equal to a three star hotel but you get a full house and in a regular neighborhood for the same price. This is optimal for the couple, maybe with smaller children but you could also squeeze in four adults for a shorter stay. You have your own little garden with furniture and a gas grill. It is very clean and I understand that the kitchen is totally new. You have your own washer and dryer. It is an advantage if you like the music from fighter aircraft because they do have their base quite close to the house. But who doesn’t like the sound of freedom? I have lived in many Similar places around the world. Never has the communication been better! Thanks Jennifer, you are the best😎
