Sapphire Retreat w/ 2 Decks, Views & Resort Access

Such a stunning property with two large decks overlooking the treetops with the view beyond in the distance through the trees. Travelling with my husband and our 14 year old and also my elderly father in law so he had the bedroom and en suite on the ground floor with dining room/kitchen/living area. Downstairs are two more bedrooms, a double and a twin, each with doors out to another deck with a swing seat. There’s also another bathroom with shower on this floor. Everything was immaculately clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need (just bring your food obviously!). Dale and Brandy the maintenance couple arrived during our stay to replace the TV. We didn’t;t know it wasn’t;t working because we dont really watch tv on holiday but it was amazing service that they were on it to fix it during our stay. It is an incredible drive up to the property - very twisty and turny through the trees. You’ll need sat nav or Apple Maps! Also try to get there before dark - it’ll be easier to find. It is well positioned to enjoy Cashiers, Highlands and the waterfalls around there. We also went to Cherokee and the Nahalala Outdoor centre (to hike a little of the Appalachian trail)

Trying to think of a bad point! Can’t think of one!

The view from the top deck was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing there in the evening after a day of exploring the surrounding waterfalls and shopping / Dinning the area towns. Beds are comfortable as well as the couches and the kitchen is well equipped. The home itself is beautiful and well maintained and clean. Communication with owner is great and they are very helpful and available should you need anything.

I honestly have no dislikes or negatives to say , great location and home.

Very comfortable, very clean, and beautiful!! Fully equipped kitchen, no need to bring your own plates/dishes/cookware, that was very helpful! Washer & dryer accessible,again so nice! So much space, very quiet, very nice community, neighbors are very friendly! Walking trail right next to the property when you want to get out & explore, our whole family loved our stay! Thank you to these home owners!!

If you are coming in town with any slight chance of snow, must have all wheel drive vehicle/snow tires, roads are very steep & ice made it very difficult to leave. Downstairs stays cold, tried leaving all the doors open, but never got even warm, children all had to camp out upstairs, for sleep.

The cabin is beautiful and in a great location. Upstairs is cozy and lovely. Fully stocked kitchen was nice as well. Overall it was beautiful and the only issues were the ones I've stated below. If those issues were fixed I would give it a 10.

Downstairs is freezing and we could not heat it so the children and my future in laws were freezing at night. I would have liked to know I needed to bring heaters. I also ended up with several bites when I woke up. After research we believe them to be bed bug bites from the master bedroom. It was nice and comfy but needs to be checked for bugs. No one else got bit but me and they are everywhere on me.
