Il Fienile, whose origins date back to the year 1000, was completely renovated in 2018 to the highest standards of elegance and safety using authentic Tuscan materials. The bedrooms—one with an en suite bathroom and the other two with shared bathrooms—are very spacious and quiet. The living room and kitchen are very bright and open onto the patio, which is furnished with a teak table and chairs, a beach umbrella, lounge chairs, and a barbecue—where you can enjoy your meals completely surrounded by nature. Alternatively, you can use the indoor table, where we hold our fun-filled cooking classes upon request.
The living room, featuring traditional exposed beams and a large decorative fireplace, has a large sofa and two armchairs, as well as an additional sofa that converts into a very comfortable double bed.
In addition to a cozy reading nook, you’ll find a bookshelf that can double as a workspace for remote work. The living room is completed by a Smart TV equipped with Tim Vision and a selection of multilingual books; adjacent to it is a full bathroom with a shower and a laundry room.
The barn measures 140 square meters and overlooks a large private garden of 1,000 square meters; it is arranged over two floors, each with direct and independent access to the outdoors.
The panoramic pool (shared only with the other three families) is reached via a path that runs alongside the property; this makes the house’s garden an oasis of peace and relaxation.
Il Fienile della Fonte is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, 24 km from Florence, close to the A1 highway (Impruneta exit), 7 km from the town of Strada in Chianti (supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, restaurants, and shops), 74 km from Siena, 11 km from the “Ugolino” Golf Club, and a short distance from the famous towns of Greve, Panzano, Impruneta, Gaiole, and Castellina in Chianti.
