A wonderful place near Maremma National Park, in the fields. I’d give it a few extra points for its spotless cleanliness and the amazing selection of delicious cakes at breakfast. The rooms are functionally furnished: there is enough of storage space, including in the bathroom, which is often lacking in more minimalist spaces. You can opt for the set menu at the dinner – there’s no choice of dishes, but it’s an excellent option if you can manage two courses plus a dessert.
I didn’t have a problem with that, but it’s worth bearing in mind that there’s no air conditioning, which can be an issue in the height of summer. Though this is mentioned on the website so nobody can complain! When it’s not extremely hot, the terrace roof means the sun doesn’t get into the room and it’s very comfortable.
